I've been shopping at Mountain Man since 2002 and I've always been treated great. Very clean and organized store. They have the largest selection of firearms in Fayetteville and maybe all of NWA.

I cannot speak about whether it's a decent place to hock your stuff for quick cash, as I've never done that. But if you're in the market to buy a gun it's definitely better than most pawn shops. Only reason for the three star rating is that Mountain Man staff has been known to parrot the ridiculous myth that their guns are superior to the same makes and models available at Walmart, because the Walmart versions are more cheaply made with plastic parts that break, etc. I've heard pawn shops tell this same whopper for over 30 years. I'm not sure if they actually believe it or not, but it's utter tripe and insulting to their customer's intelligence.

Best place for ‘man night’ with Pastor Shannon. Jesus would have been a gun owner!! And I love how women aren’t allowed at man night. Ain’t nothin better than crackin a cold one with the lord in a pawn shop without the nagging of hussies
