THIS IS FOR CORPORATE EYES ONLY:It STINKS LITERALLY! I almost threw up, along with countless other customers. The manager repeatedly attempted to get Corporate to allow her to close the store, "NO"! The GM had tried to get Corporate to close the store, "NO"! The fire department came, not their problem, might be a dead animal. I called 911, not their problem, Saline County Health Services, not their problem. Finally sent an email to KARK, never heard back!It was obvious, a human waste line had backed up or broke.. the smell was so overwhelming I started smelling in 20 feet away. How bad, toxic does human waste have to get before it is considered a health hazard. Dollar General should put as many stacks of FREE gift cards to hand out to every customer who endured the vile smell. Duh... the bathroom was closed do to malfunctioning... if it was dead animal is died from the fumes!The store is great, staff and management could not be more customer focused. I believe if it hadn't perhaps cost her her job, the manger would have shut the store down herself!On August 17, 2023 I stopped by this store to see if anyone had responded to the beyond foul odor coming from inside this store. I remarked how far better it had smelt and how much cooler it was now compared to my being there on August 15, 2023. I was shocked to no not only had nobody taking action to identify and repair where the odor was coming from it was actually still there.It seems the District Manager controls all store temperatures under them "REMOTELY". No employee has access to adjust the temperature, the DM does it from wherever they are as they believe it is to be adjusted. Basically, the employees who work at these stores, who are with the customers are not trusted to regulate the temperature as they believe necessary to provide a pleasant shopping atmosphere.The day I went to shop, smelled the overwhelming stench, it was extremely hot outside, the inside temperature was hotter. Had the manager been allow to adjust the temperature not only the employees, but countless customers would have been spared the overwhelming odor.No, there is not a thermostat available for an employee, let alone the manager, to adjust the temperature.

Walked in and heard an employee berate a customer for using self checkout. I walked right out. Maybe pay employees to check people out before accusing customers of stealing. Won’t be back.

Friendly and helpful staff but as always at Dollar General stock on the shelves are a mess and stock carts litter the aisles full of stock making it unavailable to customers ?

WARNING!!!a worker there will slide in what ever she wants to buy and CHARGE you for it! Then refuse to take it off the total and will NOT give you a receipt instead she will get stupid on you. I was over charged 40$!! I will NEVER shop there again. My total should have been under 20, I was charged +60$!!This is NOT how you run a BUSINESS.

What can you say? It's a DG. But, this one has a very friendly staff and usually has just about anything you need.

Just left from there. The older lady with glasses was rude. Rushing us to check out. She told us at 8:27 p.m. the store will be closing. Again at 8:32 p.m. I asked what time the store closed she said 8:55 p.m. I said ok. At 8:39 p.m. she said yall need to go ahead and get on to check out. Just rude.
