I found this little Gas Station acting as a beginner truck stop/ Travel Stop. As I drive truck and happen to drive across interstate 40 I like it when I find something that makes my day a little better. I met Steve Kendo (General Manager) and Nick Hamilton ( Store Manager) today when I decided to park for the evening and avoid the rush hour traffic in Little Rock Arkansas. This little gem of a place is located in Atkins Arkansas and has a few features I really like. First thing I noticed is how clean everything is. Granted it's a new building, lot and business at this location, but Mr Hamilton seems to pay attention to the details that keep it looking nice and newer. Things like the bathroom stall door having a built in trim piece that covers the edges of the door preventing the common gaps that allow others to see into the stall while you are using the facilities and are seated. It really is the little things that make me happy. Then there's the always fresh food choices of chicken or pizza. Well stocked refrigerated drinks, or a quick premade sandwich with a variety of snacks for the road. I've been told that an expansion that will include a shop with at least two bays is also in the future with the 75 space parking lot to be added to as well.

The gas station/truck stop in Blackwell is a lot nicer now that it's TA. They have a lot of food and drink options, several different flavors of coffee, and an energy slushie that's pretty good. The hot food options looked and smelled really good!

7/9/2024 here is how looks like parking lot most likely likely they are going to fixing the parking lot I see some equipment in back for little while you ll need boots to go in side when raining I didn't go inside but looks like it's remodeled what's I see some comments and pictures

This is your typical big truckstop chain swallowing little dish. TA redoing the parking lot and then adding 20 paid to park spots. The showers are not truck driver friendly for $18.00 without fuel purchase. There is no space to set your toiletries, clean clothes, etc. There is no ledge in the shower to set your shampoo, body wash, and so forth.
