Vehicle wasn't ready at pick up time, dirty inside and out and I didn't realize the license plate and registration paperwork that was in the vehicle expired June 2022 until I was over 200 miles away. I called multiple numbers to get the current registration emailed to me and kept getting transferred to another department until they eventually hung up on me. I sent a message online at 4pm and received a response at 9:25pm that I can return the vehicle for another one. Check everything including registration before you leave!

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT rent a car from Budget (Avis Budget Group which operates under the names Avis, Budget and Zipcar). You've been warned.Rented a car for a month on the West Coast to handle business on the East Coast. When the car they rented to me had an electrical steering failure 2 weeks into my monthly rental, they exchange the car (although I had to pay $95 for a road side rescue) and then charged me an additional $465.96 when I returned the exchanged car 2 weeks later as if that was a new rental on top of the $1,131.61 I already paid to rent the car for the month.To add insult to injury, they didn't do that while I was returning the car (2 days earlier then the actual return date under the monthly rental agreement) and standing in the office handing over the keys. That charge conveniently showed up on my credit card account 2 days later.While in line to hand back keys, I get to overhear the guy in front of me arguing about being charged $200+ because he was returning his rental car one hour late. Amazing a company would think they have a future in the rental car business while screwing over their own customers. They were completely uninterested in doing what they knew was the right thing to do when they had to swap out a car that was deficient. Very glad I paid by credit card. It was my only recourse.Only had to use a credit card dispute one other time in my life and that company eventually went bankrupt. Avis Budget Group (Avis, Budget and Zipcar) is currently morally bankrupt. I expect financial bankruptcy can't be far behind and exactly how a market place rewards bad businesses such af this one.

I rented a van drove nice excellent gas mileage. But they cleaned the outside but not the inside windows were dirty carpet was dirty!

I went to the office a couple weeks prior to my trip. I delt with a real person and received a fair rate. Also scheduled ? my return trip in January. Professional/friendly staff. Got an excellent car and the trip and return went flawlessly. Secured with my American Airlines card with extra miles.

Great value. Rented a new model car with many extras at a very good price. Service was great and car was full of fuel, clean, and in great condition.

Dirty car inside and out, sand and mud on the carpets, dusty interior, missing floor mats. Then to return the vehicle, no one on site, offices were closed during business hours and no signage to tell customers of alternate drop off location.Yuma AZ on Pacific Ave.

We rented a truck here. We made a reservation online but when we got there the store was closed. An agent came over from the airport and opened up for us.

I set up my rental on the internet and it worked fairly well except it kept changing the dates I wanted to rent the car for, but I finally got the rental all set up with the correct dates. Other than that I was happy with picking up the car and returning it.

Was fast service and wonderful customer service. We had been having issues getting a big vehicle for our disabled daughter and budget came to the rescue. They were so friendly and caring.
