I came here to pick up items I had won from an auction that I bid in. They have just about everything you would need for a remodel or repair of your home, and I didn't go any further than the first building. Danny was great! He had a super awesome personality, and he's great with people. The reason I only gave 3 stars is because I drove 2 1/2 hours to make the time frame to pick up my items and spent over an hour waiting for the owner to return with the key to get my stuff. When I arrived, I was told she left to go to the bank and would return soon. When she returned, she apologized and proceeded to state she had a family emergency. She made me feel like I was a burden to be dealt with. I tried to state that maybe next time she had to leave, she should leave the key for people to receive their items during the times slotted for pickup. She talked right over me, which I thought was quite rude. She gave me a very small deal on a much needed new walker, and I purchased a small street sign for my daughter. Her husband had a great personality and was very upbeat, but I definitely will not be bidding on any auctions in Tucson in the future, as I can drive a shorter time and distance for rudeness.

The prices for a lot of the items they have are the same price as Home Depot. What's the point of going there? UPDATE: I am updating this review from a 2 star to a 4 star because owner contacted me and said they will be at any price by 25% if you find the same item! This is Fantastic thanks for the clarification! I'll be back!

I went to Gerson's for a window; as recommended by a neighbor. Alex and Jerry where very helpful. They helped me find the window I needed and they even went to the extent of cutting off some unneeded excess on the window to help me fit it into my car. I would recommend this place to someone looking to save money on some unanticipated home problems. For example in my instance, most windows of the size I needed were $400+ in most retailers but I found one here for $90. Yes, they are used items and they come and go so it may be different stuff every time you visit but its great in a pinch for someone on a budget.

It can sometimes be a hit or miss but I do enjoy going and looking at what this place has to offer especially when I’m trying to save some money on remodels. The owner is for the most part willing to work with you too on some items which I was satisfied about but they won’t really come down that much on their prices. Go check it out and you might save a lot of money!! I do sometimes have better luck on Craigslist and Facebook marketplace though.

The place has a feel like a flea market, they have a bunch of unique and one-off pieces that you may not find anywhere else. Go with an open mind, plan on taking time to look at the details

First place you go if you are looking for a DIY project! Friendly service and fair prices. Didn't find what we were looking for this trip, but found a bonus item instead. It is worth the trip and looks.

Paid for my item, showed up to pick it up and wasn't able to get it. No refund given. Had to dispute the transaction with my credit card company. 1/10 handling of the transaction.Edit: Gersons lies in the reply and has not responded to the email I sent them.

I came to town to go to Gersons and I was shocked at their pricing. I was looking for an outdoor small patio table. They had one for $ 50, with no top. Really? I didn't care that it had no chairs, or sun faded. I looked at the rugs, way over priced. A simple rug you can buy atWalmart or Dollar Store they want alot for.

A lot of used material there if you're looking for something specific you might find it they have a lot of inventory some of the things are a little pricey they used to be a lot more comfortable you just have to look around for what you're looking for

Previously, this establishment was a commendable choice, but presently it has deteriorated into a vendor of overpriced, substandard goods. They have attempted to sell products with evident sun damage and breakage as new, and thus it is not worth the effort to travel there.

There’s a lot of garbage at this place is trying to sell broken stuff, dirty stuff. The prices are decent depending on what you’re looking for the staff is friendly, but I just felt filthy walking out of there super dirty I go to Home Depot first

I'm disgusted with how Gearsons is pricing their inventory.Used sinks and cabinets are priced the same as new at Home Depot.Interior doors are cheaper at Home Depot, where they have not been out in the weather and are cleaner!Patio chair cushions are cheaper at multiple stores.Backsplash tiles that have been out in the weather for who knows how long are $6.99: Home Depot is the same price for product that hasn't been in the sun and rain and possibly discolored.Handicapped shower chairs that have sat thru rain and sun are listed for $20. You can find them new at Amazon and Walmart for $25.Freezers are cheaper at Walmart and Home Depot.I just bought 2 large Rubbermaid cabinets for $225 (total) on Amazon, but Gearsons has 1 rusted metal cabinet for $123.Gearsons used to be the place to go, now they are just not worth the time. So much of their stuff is used and out in the elements, yet they have their prices marked crazy high. If I'm going to pay that much for a product, I'm going to get brand new product!
