Just had surgery on 12/26 and the care was excellent from the volunteers who escort you to the prep nurse who painlessly put in my IV. The nurse who did my vitals was also very nice. The anesthesiologist was so good at her job I had no nausea when I woke up in post op and the post op nurse was right there to greet me!! Love The Staff!!

Worse hospital ever I gave birth their the nurses did not listen to me once so ever about the pain in my back they sent me home with ibuprofen I couldn’t even walk I tried to go to their urgent care their was a 5 hour wait because I couldn’t move for two weeks I couldn’t breastfeed my baby and didn’t get the experience of mother hood I so badly wanted. Just the other day my sister went their and they wouldn’t remove her cyst that should have been remove they blew 3 of her veins trying to put an IV in and then sent her home because she wasn’t in enough pain she was taken back because it ruptured they sent her home again and now her ovary is twisted

EMTALA Violation- I would love to rate the clinical staff 5/5 stars, unfortunately something as serious as a violation of EMTALA ruins the rating for everyone. The Registration department clearly needs additional training on this federal law which states a patient seeking emergent care must receive a medical screening examination regardless of ability to pay. Translation; it is illegal to ask for my insurance card when presenting to the Women’s center for an unscheduled emergency OB Triage visit. However, that’s exactly what happened. When I mentioned several times that this process of verifying my demographic information, obtaining my insurance card and my signatures on consent forms is a delay in my MSE the Registration representative responded with “I have to”. No, what you “have” to do is ensure I am medically screened without undue delay because mine and my unborn baby’s life may depend on it.This has been the process for at least two years as I reported this to the Registration Supervisor 2 years ago when I was here last and clearly processes were not changed.

I went to this hospital for an outpatient procedure that turned into a whole lot more. In a perfect world things would have been wrapped up that day, however there were complications. The doctors and staff were professional and took time to explain things that were in flux, much of which I did not understand at the time. This is a great hospital. There are some damn good people working here. It's clean & well staffed. They made sure I was comfortable as possible given the circumstances. I am very happy they treated me and would recommend this facility to friends & family.Thank you Banner Del Web for saving my life a number of time in just a few days. You never know what life will throw at you and I have absolute faith they have my back.

My 3 year old boy got a pretty nasty cut on his chin In which we took him to get medical attention and we knew he would need some stitches. After arriving at the emergency room my wife and soon were taken back fairly quickly to get information and his vitals so once they verified that my son needed stitches they put them in a room in where they were told to wait until the procedure was ready to be done. Waited 6 hours and nothing had been done so my wife asked multiple times to see what’s going on and they gave her attitude and finally ignored so we ended up taking my son somewhere else. Horrible experience, we will never be back to this hospital.

My mom was admitted to Banner Del Webb for 6 days on the 5th floor. I have never seen such poor care, lack of communication and empathy. There were only a handful of nurses that took good care of her. Her aide Ray was great and her nurse Emma on nights. Being a nurse myself I understand we get busy but there is no excuse for such poor care. I will never take her there again!

It's reassuring to have a team of expert and compassionate medical staff nearby. My experiences at Banner Del Webb Hospital have never been disappointing.I've always been treated wonderfully, and I appreciate the extra consideration given to me as a veteran. I have complete trust in the professionals and teams who have cared for me and my family.*It's also always very clean!Thank you guys!

Having just discharged today from Del Webb Hospital after a weeks stay, I found the skills of the clinical staff to be excellent! The RN'S and Aide staff were top notch,However, unfortunately, while I was there , I also saw some TERRIBLE examples of poor customer service skills, including management, (RN Managers).Having spent the last 20 years in the medical field, it was very disheartening to witness patients being spoken to rudely and dismissively by management staff. Perhaps there should be more customer service to teach management to LISTEN to the patients' issues before reacting.Along with providing excellent clinical training , perhaps it would be great to also include a little more in-depth customer service training as well.

Absolutely the worse hospital I’ve ever been at … unfortunately I was in a lot of hospitals because I’ve had some illnesses over the years and few surgeries, but this I can say is hands-down, the worst Hospital I’ve ever been in my life I would absolutely avoid this place at all costs. I was a fire fighter for 25 years and a paramedic. I’ve seen dozens of hospital and their nursing staffs and this I’m telling you is the absolute worst I’ve ever seen in my life. Floor 3 room 313 day nurse Cory talked a good game because he had no skills so he had to try and be funny. Diana at night is fantastic and tries her best to help but her colleagues are horrible!! She should go to a good hospital like banner Estrella. I’ve since had interaction with my new nurse at discharge and she and all staff have been wonderful. I’m updating my review to compensate for the better of the organization!

Doctors are so caring and they actually listen when you speak. The nurses are dedicated and very kind. They work really hard and are very busy but they always have a big smile and encouraging words. The room was clean. The food was not so good! But the food was the least important. I felt better and I would go back there if necessary.

Took my husband to er twice between Christmas and New years, second time he was sent to rehab, he was sick and someone said gall stones but rehab would help to walk. He vomited 5 days and nights till I convinced rehab to have him seen by a physician at which time he was again taken to the er where he passed away. Why did they not diagnose him properly the first time in er..If they knew what they were doing he may still be here.

My family members live in Grand so they tend to have a bit of a track record here! I really have to give props to the amazing, attentive, professional nursing staff. Art, Heidi, and Heather have been watching out for my grandma and making me feel much more at ease as she recovers. Art, especially, paid extra close attention. He sat with her last night, asked her questions, and then even told me little things that she said that make a huge difference. My experience with the whole nursing staff puts me at ease knowing she’s in such great hands. I just hope my family and I can live up to the high expectations when we bring her home, soon!
