Today was my late birthday party when me and my mother were done shopping this old man told me to come to him he gave me 2 dollars and started talking about God our saver when he was talking about him people came with 20 bucks that's god being helpful right after that he kept talking about God after 5 second some one came he works here at food city and when he came up he said he can't be there and he thought he was begging people for money.when my mom said he was just talking about God he said he appreciate it abt God but he needs to leave.but when he walked away there was sumone begging for money there he waved at him? How does that work u are not going to be doing that.1 start for bad employment

When first moved to SV, I thought it was cool that there was a Food City here. However, over a year or so, the experience has been declining. Quality of produce and meats steadily going down, lines getting longer and longer (I mean, I've been to more than halfway down the freezer section at 1030 on a weekday). Last straw was a couple of times I was severely overcharged on produce items because of scale issues or maybe purposeful adjustment, who knows. One tiny lime weighed in at half a pound, for example. ?! But how to prove it and get the difference back, impossible. The extra star is because for certain meat, I generally can't go anywhere else due to cost, regardless of quality. Like all other stores in SV, captive audience, so don't need good prices, good service, or good quality.

The only place I can get inexpensive hot tomato sauce (Val Vita) and Fire Yakasoba noodles. Sierra Vista store is exceptionally nice and always looks so clean.

So last night, about 5pm-6pm, I went to Food City to get horchata from the deli inside the store lady was cleaning cappuccino machine i waited till i about 15 to 20 min with her back was turn i continue to have a conversation with my husband and not once did she turn arond and acknowledge us and she went to back and wash the drain so i sd forget it and left i was plan to get more but decided to get the hamburger meat and that all if i can help it i wont be shopping there anymore if i can help it and i usually go 3 to 4 times a month foodcity needs to train there employees to be better at customer service
