Bitter old men on steroids still trying to act tough and like they never left their frat from 40 years ago. Often hate on the young ones and creep out all the girls. Don’t get mad its the TRUTH ??

Pretty decent but needs more stair climbers than 6 and typically has out of service machines that are also broken for more than a week! Common.

Well. I don't usually do reviews, but here it goes. So I picked up a membership at LA Fitness in Scottsdale, it's close to my home (ish) and has a pool. Sweet, all good things. I generally prefer to run on trails and such, but that's not possible during a Phoenix summer. A few days after getting the membership, I receive a text from Damion, the fitness instructor there asking when I could come in for a personalized workout plan. I ask him if in the morning would work, (I get up at 330am to begin exercising) and he ask if noon would be okay. I agreed, and thought, awesome! I pretty much know what I'm doing, but I always appreciate a tour and introduction to rules, etc. It makes going in that first time not so awkward, and prevents avoidable mishaps. However, I had no plan on working out (I had already done so for the day) and I was there just to check it out. I had already paid 160 or so for the first and last with annual fee, so I figured i should use it. I arrive early by about 10 mins, no biggie, and let the girl at the front know that I had an appointment with Damion at noon. She said he was just finishing up his set and he would be right up for me. No worries! I'm early, so I just hung out. However, once noon hit, with no acknowledgement or anything from the staff, I decided I would go and take a look around myself. So I ask the girl at the front where the locker rooms were, and mentioned I would go check them out myself since it was noon and Damion wasn't up there. Still finishing his sets, I suppose. Did I mention I also received 3 alerts reminding me of this appointment at noon from them? I went, checked out the lockers rooms, wandered, then went up front to see if he was up there. Nope. And, when I was asking about the pool hours, she was pointedly ignored me, turned to her computer screen, and started clicking away. Thanks for wasting my time. If you weren't the only viable option that's close by on my biking route, I would find somewhere else. I was there at the time that you specified worked for you, it did not work for me. You couldn't even give me the courtesy of being on time yourself.

Not even a member. Came as a guest and had my stuff stolen right off the court while playing basketball. And the gym apparently has no cameras. Idk what kind of public facility has no cameras but that was a great experience.

To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I read negative reviews about LA fitness and wished I had heeded to their warnings.
I signed up with La fitness optimistic about getting back into the gym. Unfortunately, due to a personal medical diagnosis I'm unable to continue going. The management has been a nightmare. Instead of being understanding and showing me any kindness they have been rude and dismissive. I have given them three doctors notes explaining why I need to cancel my membership and they rejected all of them. They will not let me out of my membership even thought the contract says in a medical case it can be bypassed. To prove the contract says this I asked them to send it to me in order to highlight these statements. To my disbelief they are now refusing to resend me the contract. It's ridiculous that they are treating me like this. The process is so stressful while I'm already not feeling well. They aren't even treating me like a human at this point. Just a bunch of collectors with no heart. The
managers treatment of me reflects how the rest of her staff has treated me. Do not join this gym. They are terrible.

Very dirty gym, especially restrooms and locker rooms. Horrible smell all over, almost like mold and cheese. Made my workout so uncomfortable. Definitely not worth 35$ a month. If they can’t even keep the gym “moderately” or even “genuinely” clean, they need to bring their prices DOWN!
Overall equipment was good, no complains their, but man, they need to hire a cleaning crew to keep the gym clean.

LA fitness personal training program is a scam they lie to you. They make you think you’re getting a session a week but that’s not true it’s supposed to be 30 minute sessions you get 20 minutes and only three times a month instead of four. Stay clear of this place.

Disgusting. Men's locker room floor looks like it has not been mopped for two weeks. Glass and mirrors are dirty. Children's area is closed. Juice bar is closed. Pool water is cloudy.
