The staff was pretty friendly. It was located in a really great spot, but there was some construction on the main road that made getting out of the park tricky. Otherwise, it was in a great location. It was a really pretty park. I loved the walking path access to the lake. They have a strict dog policy. No more than 2 dogs.Walkability: Really great access to trails.

We stayed at Point of Rocks twice on our recent trip from California to Texas. On our return trip we had trouble with our truck and had to extend our stay at Point of Rocks. We were hoping to get on the road when the truck was repaired and we were told by their office that if we stayed a minute past check out we would have to pay for another day -- no options! They were not at all understanding or gracious at all! So we ended up paying for another night even though our vehicle was ready in theafternoon. The place is very dusty (especially when it is windy). My parents stayed there 25 years ago and said it hasn't changed -- no improvements have been made. It is difficult to get in and out and they are more interested in their policies and money than they are the customer. Though we have family in Prescott and could have been repeat customers -- we will not stay there again! The only nice thing is the location to Watson lake -- but they have a nice parking lot-- so staying at Point of Rocks is unnecessary to enjoy it.

We stayed at the RV park. Very pleasant campground, office staff, and campers. Maybe a little pricey since they do not have pool, but great location, rooming sites and quiet. Convenient hiking to Lake Watson.

Reminds me of camping in a state park. Lots of privacy, quiet, each space is nestled between trees with lots of shade. (A little bit dusty) Nice place to be!

Made a reservation on-line only to discover that they did not accept renovated school buses (that is on me). It pays to read...but I think it is rude to not allow "schoolies." Our renovation is way better looking than many RVs that I have seen. We are 60+ year old wanderers and don't understand this elitist attitude, sorry!

This RV park is not my favorite. I will not be coming back. The roads are loose gravel and make it very difficult to get your trailer up the hills and into the spots. The spots are very small and very close to one another. It is nice that it is so close to Watson Lake. The bathrooms and showers were clean but the shower heads aren’t screwed on right and spray every where and the shower took a long time to drain so you stood in dirty water while you showered. It was nice to have full hook ups but if you can’t make it into the spot then you can’t use them anyways! For the price they should use some of the money they make and pave the roads! Campsites in national parks have better roads, sites and are half the price! And the employees are much nicer at NP campsites as well!

This is a campground not a hotel. Staff was very helpful and accomidating especially since we arrived a day early. They set us up in a site with an awesome view. Showers and bathrooms were awesome. I could have sat there all day admiring the view. Trail to lake was a little changing for me since I have bad knees and limitation but enjoyed the challenge. If you like water sports they deliver rentals to the waters edge. Awesome start to our Arizona journey. If I'm in the area again with as n RV I'll be staying here.Nearby activities: Lake, trails, playground with large grass field nearby. Water sports.Walkability: Nice walk to the nearby lake, not an easy trail but kids would be enjoy tremendously.

Been coming here for several years. Always clean! Never had one issue. Spaces are roomy and staff always picks up before you park. Never had a bad spot. Close to Watson Lake and downtown. Spots are nice and covered with trees.

What a great campground. Very well kept up. Nice large sites, clean bathrooms, neat clean trash bins throughout the campground. Dog waste bag stations. DVDs to borrow and light groceries in the office. Very quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Electrical work lug in was loose, they fixed quickly. We’ll be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this campground. It is pretty close to downtown Prescott. Check-in was really easy. We drove to our assigned non-premium site but was really happy that we still had somewhat of a view of the valley. The site and drive is gravel but the space was level and had plenty of room for our pop outs. The sites are dog friendly. No wood fires are allowed but we didn't mind since we carry a propane fire pit and that was allowed. There was a quick hike from the campsite to Watson Lake and a green grass park. We would definitely stay at this campsite again.

This is a great place to bring your R.V.!!! The staff is awesome and the park is beautiful. Got spots, lots of space and it's right next to Watson Lake. They have books and movies available too. I highly recommend this campground. There is no tent camping though, just an FYI. Enjoy!Nearby activities: Restaurant close by.Walkability: Hike to Watson lakeNoteworthy details: Watch for critters!
