We had spent several days camping in the wilderness, so we decided to splurge at the Westin for the last night of our trip. To say this was a great decision is an understatement.
The location is fantastic, with restaurants close by and an easy walk to the shops, restaurants, and bars on Roosevelt Row.
The service was absolutely stellar, especially Drew at the front desk. He took care of all of our needs both at the hotel and for recommendations in the area. He also searched his inventory and upgraded our room, which was an unexpected treat. Having an oversized room after a week in a tent made for a great last day of vacation, and I have Drew and the Westin to thank for that.

The Westin is mine and my wife’s go to spot in Downtown PHX. Anytime we are here, this is where we stay. The rooms are comparable to other hotels of its nature in price. The hotel always smells exceptionally clean, the staff is kind, and the rooms are big and spacious. Plus, the amenities are top notch, and there’s even an above-average restaurant on site. The location is exceptional as it’s within walking distance of all that downtown Phoenix has to offer, including the stadiums. We will definitely be staying again.

Just a beautiful hotel! The corner suites are the best. Friendliest, helpful, super pleasant staff. Located walking distance to downtown concert venues. ??

When you live in downtown hotels, something as simple as great elevator service and accessiblity and spacious rooms is appreciated. This place is fantastic and comfortable.

Excellent stay at the Westin Downtown. As we arrived, the valets sprung into action right away to unload our vehicle and help with our bags. The check-in was swift and easy. The hotel being inside the Freeport-McMoRan Center, I loved that the floors were named after the different Freeport mines and the ballrooms named after minerals! Our room was spacious, clean, and well furnished, and had a beautiful view of the city and the North Valley. Room service was fast and very good. Down in the restaurant, we enjoyed the meat and cheese board and drinks, included in the destination fee. Every time we went out for the day or evening, the valets were very quick to bring the vehicle up. Very beautiful stay and was actually really restful!
Rooms: Rooms were very spacious, very clean, and well furnished. AC worked great and was quiet. Large floor to ceiling windows provided great views of the city and valley.
Safety: There was some homeless in the downtown, but nothing threatening. The hotel was extremely secure and safe.
Walkability: The convention center is only blocks away. There are restaurants and entertainment all within a short walk.
Food and drinks: The restaurant and room service are both very good. It's a very impressing menu.

Brooke at the Westin Downtown Phoenix exceeded my expectations with her outstanding customer service! Knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly, she made my stay truly exceptional. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely appointed - a true oasis in the heart of Phoenix! Five stars and highly recommended!
Walkability: 3-4 minute walk to the convention center.
