The one star is strictly for the onsite management and maintenance. Their corporate office is wonderful and helpful but I must write this review as I am in search of my deceased husbands black biker vest he passed away when he was killed on 10/06/2021 by a 16 year old drunk driver. I will admit I fell behind on my rent due to unforeseen circumstances and I was eventually evicted. The corporate office was working with me so that I could get back into the unit and I was desperately trying to do so and I really thought I would/could but wasn't able to and before realizing I was going to lose literally everything in my unit, it was too late. I've come to terms that I lost everything and I can replace everything I had accept my husbands biker vest our kids are devastated to have lost. I am grateful that his ashes were not disposed of by management and maintenance but when I asked about his vest, not a clue where it is. All of my clothes were bagged up but no one knows where it went. Not that it was disposed of or donated but they just don't know. MInd you, I kept my apartment very clean and TONS of nice things I am sure it was not disposed of or donated. Im certain my items were kept by someone who removed the item, I am almost 99.9% positive. I know how these things work as I used to run my own business with my husband and partnered with a client who flipped homes. We did repaired/installed all the window work for him. When someone leaves items behind like I did, It's basically a free for all who wants it and first dibs is whoever is cleaning up and removing the items. One of the larger items I never removed was a 62" flatscreen smart TV (only two years old my son bought for me). Where did that go? Disposed of or out for donation??? I highly doubt that. "They just don't know" is their response. SO WHO DOES KNOW? Isn't that your job to know where these things go? Isn't management supposed to manage these types of things??? I could care less about anything materialistic in that apartment other than my deceased husbands leather biker jacket. It was 2XX with large yellow lettering on the back that says SAUCIDO and underneath a large skull patch and under that a large "ARIZONA" patch. If anyone knows where this may have been taken or who has it, I am offering a $200 reward in exchange for the vest. I AM REALLY NEEDING HELP WITH THIS since I can not get any straight answers from onsite management. I just wants my husbands vest please whoever may have or know where it is.

Lived at pure midtown for over 2 years. New ownership/management came in around my second year and everything fell through. complex upkeep and grounds were not managed properly. hallways were always dirty and never cleaned, communication with management also was abysmal. Management is shady and unprofessional, at first I tried to stay longer but rent was increased 200+ even though I had lived there for over two years and paid rent on time monthly. Move out process was a pain dealing with the leasing office and setting proper expectations. You will also not receive a security deposit back even if your apartment was cleaned and taken care of properly, they will try to incur fees on issues that were non existent and provide little to zero communication after you move out. Terrible experience living there in my last year. I would not recommend this place to a stranger I met on the street.

This place is a JOKE!! Management does not maintain security within the building allowing the homeless to enter our floors. Everything breaks all the time. Dog poop everywhere even inside the building

Lived here four years, moved out after XCD realty bought the building and the place went to the trash. It’s never clean, multiple break ins, and terrible overall management. Rosalie at the front desk is kind but it took months to get my deposit back and the place is in terrible shape. Happy I moved out

It was not a good time when I lived here, it always smelled bad, and wasn't kept up, increased rent by like 200$+ on me (they did not accommodate even a single dollar) before I decided to move out, only to see that my apartment wasn't rented for like another 4-5 months. On top of all of this there were days where I literally couldn't park my car after working, so I'd have to park it in a nearby lot and walk over. Would not suggest living here when so many other places are cheaper, cleaner have better amenities and are proximal to the area.

New management is very unprofessional and unreliable. The leasing manager is very rude and has obviously no management experience. It's unfortunate because the area and complex itself are so nice but I would never pay to deal with these people again. I sound like a Karen but looking out people who are considering renting here.

I have called everyday to talk to someone of my interest in your apartments. No matter what time I call it goes to a message and says mailbox is full. So you can't even leave a message. So there is no office staff?!? I have even came there during your business hours and no body is there. Ever!!! How does someone communicate with a member of office staff?

I would not recommend this place now that its under a new ownership group as of the past few months. Their goal is simply to maximize revenue from the complex and that's it. They are relatively unresponsive and requested to increase our rent by 55% for our renewal, which is flat out outrageous.

New Ownership group has raised rent by 55% with only 30 days notice.

I would not recommend this place now that it's under a new ownership group as of the past few months. For no apparent reason, they requested to increase our rent by 55% for our upcoming renewal with only 35 days notice.

***updateMy car has now been broken into twice. This time they slashed the roof of my soft top open, causing over $3,000 in damage to my car. Recently they gave me a large rent increase, but they still refuse to address some fixable security issues in a neighborhood where crime has been on the rise. ***original review While this new building has been a big improvement over my last apartment, I do have a few complaints that I'm bringing here because it doesn't seem like they will get addressed any other way. 1). For the second straight time, I was promised when I moved in that the apartment would have a dog play area. This time they created the area but it's open so if I let my dog off the leash he would be able to run into the parking lot. I've been told 20 times over 2 1/2 years that they are "getting bids to put a gate on it," but I think it's safe to say that after 2.5 years it's never going to happen. But in apartments.com they still advertise a pet play area and a pet washing station, which exists but has no water hooked up to it. 2) I've had three packages stolen over the last year and management doesn't seem to see a problem with that at all. I know neighbors have had packages stolen as well. If you frequently receive Amazon packages I would suggest having them sent to a nearby Amazon locker because they will almost certainly be stolen from the package room and Amazon knows this building is a problem so they take pictures and you cannot get a refund. 3) The security gate is often broken so anyone can get into your car and the ork. When I first moved in, someone smashed my window just to steal an old iPhone 4 that I was using as a music player in my car. They did pay for my window, but they didn't even report it to the police. In general, they have a very casual attitude about the security gates/doors and your loss of personal property.

My boyfriend and I had a tour scheduled at 10:30 AM on July 7. We showed up to the property five minutes before our tour and the office doors were closed and no one was there. We work in housing and thought that they might be giving another tour so we decided to sit down in the lobby to wait. After 15 minutes of no one showing up, we decided to leave. I have messages confirming my tour and I think it is very unprofessional to have the office closed (and not show up for 15 minutes after said appointment time) when you have a confirmed tour scheduled. We saw the maintenance man a few times and he let me into the bathroom while we waited which was very kind but that was the only positive part of our experience. He even looked into the office a few times to try to find someone and seemed confused as to why no one was there.

Lived here for a year and had a great experience. Karina is very nice and has always been very helpful. Staff and maintenance is great and friendly. Rooftop is great and enjoyed having gatherings up there. Price is great and when my lease was up and I was moving out they offered my rent to be even cheaper for another year.

Please do not move into this building if you care about your mental health and well being. The fire alarm going off at all random hours of the night not knowing if it is safe or not causing extreme anxiety and restlessness. The hallways carpet stained , the dog run reeking of rancid piss smells. The list goes on and on. Please stay far away from this place. It’s not worth it and is far from a luxury experience.
