Worst school ever since Principal Roth moved to another school. Principal Carlson is horrible. When students report bullying to her she ignores it. She tries to use scare tactics on the victims instead of addressing the real problem. When there was an issue with fifth and six graders using the word 'rape' she removed the parents that were addressing the concerns and allow the problem to continue to persist. She may have been a good Principal of high schoolers however for elementary - 'horrible' is too nice of a word. The week we left the school, it was mid year, 11 students were removed within the same week. Some of the finest educators you will find have moved on to other districts because of the clique mentality that the school holds. It is very sad to see a school located in a great neighborhood go downhill because of one common denominator... Principal Carlson. If you were looking for an elementary school may I suggest ANY other school. Drive a little further and enroll your students into Neeley. You will thank me later!
