Great spot to pick up authentic Mexican food, small butcher shop, prepared food like barbacoa and more. Homemade salsa but the best thing is the fresh tortillas imported weekly from Mexico.

I am extremely disappointed in the "Butcher Shop" since it really isn't. A few cuts for Mexican food and that's about it! A better selection at Food City that's for sure. ONE AND DONE

My wife and I were staying a few miles away in Cornville. As soon as we stopped here for tacos and chorizo, our only regret was they we hadn't found the place sooner. It is an authentic Mexican meat market and small grocery. As with many Mexican meat markets, it's also the best place in town for tacos. When you order your tacos, he will grab meat from the display case to throw on the grill. It's all fresh! We also grabbed a couple pounds of chorizo to throw on our grill the next day.

Great food always keeps you coming back for more...Nothing like a personal butcher too for some great meats for BBQ days...

If you're flying up 89A from Cottonwood you might notice the Hawaiian Honey smoke shop in a small shopping area on your right, just before you get to the Verde River. Next to it, less noticeable but more interesting, is Garcia's, a little corner store. We dropped in, and found it had a typical Mexican country feel. They had a wall of meat, which if you are used to the smell, bears study. All the country cuts should be there. Outside I noticed a huge barbecue pit, and that may be the winner here. Some time when that meat goes out onto the fire, it would be nice to try it out.

Love the meat cuts and marinade. Best place to get meat for Riverside grilling. Cooks fast, tastes great.
