When did it become acceptable to require an appointment & to not answer the phone to schedule the appointment? Horrible customer service.

HEED to the reviews. Went to get a document notarized a few days ago, it is by appointment only which I did not know, apparently I got lucky to be seen within 15 mins, and the notary Adrienne Borchers made a mistake when writing out my name (with enough proof in her face she was error-free), but she didn't seem at all interested, it was rushed. I caught the error when walking out and gave the document back to her as she left her desk informing her of the mistake. Insouciantly, she says "oh it really shouldn't make any difference" then rushing me back to her desk, and her rectifying the mistake was to draw a long line through my misspelled first name and last name with her initials above. I'm not a notary so if it wasn't a big deal to her, I had the idea that maybe she knew by experience that all will be well, so I walked out. What should have been a smooth one-time transaction regarding this document, I find myself overworking to find ways to get the document validated. Ultimately defeated, just now I had to PURCHASE another copy of this document, and wait for 7-10 days until it gets back to me in the mail and then having to redo events that will start with finding a competent notary then making another very long trip to get the document hand-delivered. When purchasing a copy, the rep was astounded by the inadequacy and commenting "The notary knows better! This [document] is important enough that we'd scrutinize it, there's no excuses for that woman's poor skills..." Meanwhile my property sits in someone else's hands that should've been theirs to own in one take. Your actions are careless and reckless Adrienne Borchers, and it's costing ??! To the public, make sure notary services here are babysat then thoroughly inspected after.

Melissa is amazing! She has helped me so much and has a smile on her face (even though we have mask on) and gets it done. Thank you Melissa for all that you do in the front of the house and backend. Someone needs to give this woman a raise! ?

I am disappointed with very poor customer service at this location. I am a fairly new Chase Bank customer (not usually a fan of large corporate banks, but selected the bank a year ago because of location, when the grocery stores stopped giving cash back without a fee). I went in today to the Chandler location at 9:15 with a simple document that needed my signature Notarized. The teller went to see if the officer was available to notarize, and came back and told me that she had an appointment coming in soon. I looked around and not seeing anyone else waiting in the lobby, indicated that notarizing my signature would not take much time, but was told that the officer didn't want to make the other person that had an appointment wait. I indicated how I had tried to make an appointment, but could not get through to a "real person" at the branch. Yes, he said, we don't always answer the phone, if we are busy. Then how can I make an appointment if they don't answer the phone? It was now 9:19am, and I took note that the other "appointment" still had not arrived. As I walked out, I thought in that 4 or 5 minutes, my request could have been met, and I would have been a satisfied customer. I then waited in the parking lot for the next 10 minutes, searching on my phone for another nearby Notary, and noticed that in that 10 minutes, not one other customer entered the branch! So, because of this employee's obvious lack of interest in taking care of me, my attitude of mere satisfaction towards this bank has changed into a sincere dislike based on the service level of the bank. Would I recommend this bank to anyone? Absolutely not! With an electronic and on-line banking environment, I don't necessarily need a real person banker, but for the small number of times I do, I would like to be confident that someone is willing to assist me.I am a 35 year veteran in the banking industry, and always made sure that our employees knew that without our customers, we didn't need employees. Perhaps these Chase bankers should consider this as well. Anyway, I went down the street to the locally owned postage/mail/packaging store, and was warmly greeted and in and out in less than 5 minutes.

Went in here to deposit a check. The lady who greeted us didn't even let us get a word in before ushering us to an atm. When I tried asking her if there was going to be a hold she said it would be the same as if a teller did it. However, the reason I wanted to see a teller is so that there wouldn't be a 7 day hold. Went to the atm like she said and of course there's a 7 day hold. Extremely irritated.

This location offers the worst customer service ever. They don't care to greet their customers nor make them feel welcome. a rep literally got an attitude because she was asked to assist me. She decline to assist and made me wait and didn't even bother to acknowledge I was waiting. The tellers don't even ask how are you or say how can I help you, they just look at you like what do you want? Worst Branch ever

Worst customer service ever. Very very very disgustingly rude. We went in to open an account and were suprised with the way we were treated. Rasict rasict rasict. I bank with arizona bank and trust and honestly chase should learn a few things from there. Not only the personal banker was rude and rasict she was treating us like criminals.. we just wanted to open an account.
