I will never deal with this pharmacy again! My doctor phoned in 2 prescriptions for me - the same drug but 2 different strengths and two different ways to take them. When I went to pick up my prescription there was only 1 container in the bag. I asked the attendant where the other one was and she questioned the pharmacist. Instead of coming over and talking to me he yelled that it was the same drug. I told him that they were two different things and he yelled at me again that they were the same thing. I had to loudly explain in front of everyone why she had prescribed 2 different dosages, which was very embarrassing . Instead of responding to me he just started looking at his computer. I had no idea if he was looking up my prescription or dismissing me. After about 4-5 minutes he came over to the counter where I was standing, threw it on the counter and walked away. I couldn’t believe his lack of professionalism.I had questions about my prescription but I certainly wasn’t going to interact anymore with him. So much so that I have moved all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy and will never deal with them again.

I am beyond disgusted and disappointed with the service I have received from the pharmacist at this location. For the second time in a year he has denied my doctor prescribed prescription. The first prescription was for pink eye and he in his professional opinion didn’t think I needed the drops. I suffer from a neurological condition and he refused to fill a prescription because he didn’t know me and because it seemed the use of the Parkinson’s meds I take has been inconsistent, which is false. When I took my prescription empty bottle back, which by the way was filled at this location, he made flippant remarks and was again ignorant. I will be putting in a formal complaint with the Alberta College of Pharmacy as well as with Human Rights.

I'm torn. I really like the friendly customer service, and convenient grocery section so close to home. For that, I would love to give you a higher rating.The disconnect for me is this new push to go through self-checkout. If it continues you will not continue to get our business.For the great people and the convenient location, I'm not giving you one star... yet.

I had the most horrible experience, Tiffany the lady helping me was rude and very harsh when I had to order an essential product. Some thing I have ordered for over two years. I understand the product was back ordered, but I waited almost a month and still not in. There was no further assistance in ordering an alternative product, when I asked was told she would have to order something else. That is where the assistant ended. When I asked if I needed to look elsewhere, I was told "good luck, as there are not many pharmacies with AADL funding." I already deal with a severe health condition, the added stress was not needed. There are other pharmacies that have AADL approval, please look around for a better customer service.

This used to be a great store but now that they've moved into the new building they are trying to force people to use the self checkout, I am not an employee of the store so you will not force me to use the self checkout I am a human being and I will talk and deal with the human being stop trying to eliminate jobs, and if you feel that you need to force people to go to become employees of the store without pay by using self checkout because you haven't got enough staff then I suggest you hire some.

Shoppers Drug Mart is my favourite store; It’s my happy place because I can shop for perfumes, makeup and self care. However, this new one isn’t doing it for me. It’s like all the old products from both the of the old locations were sent to this “new” store. Like if all those old body washes and face masks weren’t sold for years, why would they start selling now ?? Update your inventory otherwise I’ll continue to go to Ponoka or Leduc and Edmonton. Disappointing !!

This new location seems nicely set up, pharmacy is overly busy most times but even so not a really long wait time. Check out staff are knowledgeable, helpful and quick.

Asked for a transfer for my daughter's inhaler from another pharmacy. Had to call them back several times and they kept saying they couldn't get through to the other pharmacy. I called and asked the other pharmacy if they got any phone calls and they said no. Took over 3 hours to get an inhaler for my daughter. Unreal! Need to work on your customer service. Shouldn't have to call back several times to follow up on if you're doing your job properly.
