My spouse and I
were just walking by when I was mean mugged by an employee at the store.
We crossed st Albert road and we were in the Montana's parking lot and 3 RCMP vehicles surround us and scream put your hands on the vehicle you are being detained for break and enter"
The guy from the liquor cabinet had called the cops because he thought I was a person that broke and entered the liquor store a previous night.
I know I did nothing and wasn't worried. But my spouse was trembling with fear as she suffers with many mental health conditions stemming from lots of trauma.
We were fine after but I went in to follow up with the guy at the liquor store yesterday, to tell him I was falsey detained and accused of break and enter, and he shrugged it off like it wasn't a big deal. My spouse was shaking for the rest of that day.
I was honestly just hoping for an apology or maybe a free single beverage or something but nothing. He also said the owner of the store lives in the US.
I will never shop at this store again. Nor would I recommend to anyone to shop here. There are Plenty of other locally owned liquor stores around here that employ born and raised St. Albertans. I would take down this review if I recieved an aplogy along with a pack of blackflys to show he is sorry.
That is not an accountable employee and I wouldn't want someone like that working for me.

Waiting outside for more than 10
Minutes from 11.35 pm. Nobody shows up. This is the second time happening the same. He might have lock and go home an hour before. So guys please don’t trust this store at late night.

I used to go to this store before to shop it was just ok , but since Sunny started working there they have more new products and it so awesome there ! Good job liquor cabinet !
