I work at near by store, after my shift, I went to get a box of cereal from this Safeway store. I used the self checkout after I was done, I was leaving and the lady at the self checkout called me saying:” you didn’t pay for it.”I told her that I did pay for it. And I have my receipt here with me. Asked her if she would like to see it.She said: “No” and turned around to another person.No apology or no nothing. Perplexed but went to service desk and returned the item and left.She was Not asking but decided that I did not pay for it and she did not want to see my receipt.Not impressed.

Ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday and this is what we got. The picture is cracked and her name isn't spelt correctly. Unfortunately my husband didn't notice until he got home. We paid $36 for this cake and it looks horrible. We have always gotten birthday cakes from Safeway but the quality has gone down hill.

The customer service has always been very helpful in finding the perfect coffee to enjoy for my drive home. 30 minutes, and my coffee is still hot.

In the morning, my husband went in for a brick of cheese…find out later on, double charge on his credit. At first, we called the credit to solve the problem. They said go to the sale to solve. In the evening, went back in to solve the problem….they refused to solve the problem….went my husband try to solve the problem…me and my don walk around…the lady who deal with my husband talk with the next customer “the customer being cheap” ??????Please training your customer service betterNever step my foot back in there

I just ate "the" most boring chicken in my life. Geez people of you're too cheap to use some spices at least sprinkle a little salt, or is that too expensive for your customers also?

Thank you Westmount Safeway for actually having a butcher on site today. He was extremely helpful & polite. I’m not able to shop at the fancy meat markets but the way my fish was wrapped up today I Felt like I spent so much more than I did.Thank you ?

Great store until you get to the meat department I'm sure the meat cutters have no idea what they are doing . I know this because I've shopped at westmount for many years and have been to other Safeway stores and it is so much better. The meat cutters prior to Sobeys taking over where great but now have gone. I was just at westmount looking for a steak and they had slices threw the meat not sure what that's about?

The groceries are decent, same as most places. The prices are a little high. The staff is hit and miss, it depends who you get. most of the staff are friendly. the ones that aren't make it not worth my time to go there anymore. Self checkout is a nightmare.
