Worst customer service I have EVER experienced. I bought 2 boxes of boneless chicken breasts on Nov 8/23, last day of a sale. We have been buying chicken from them for 16yrs and love their products. Went to make chicken for supper and whole box was freezer burnt. So odd, never experienced this. Took out the 2nd box and same thing. So odd and very disappointing. Returned them on Dec 2/23 and right away the older gentleman said it was impossible that the chicken came from them because they rotate their stock. I didnt have my receipt so he looked up my number on the computer. Looked at the numbers on the 2 boxes and then picked up both boxes and dropped them on the floor behind me. I was a little taken back. He told me that he thinks that this chicken is old and i put them in these boxes. OMG.....after exchanging a few words of his horrible service I got a refund andwalked out. I will never be back to that store again and have emailed head office in Ontario. You dont tell your customers that they are lying. Worst place ever!

Recently purchased a box of chicken strips from this location. When I bought the box, the side flap was taped closed. Didn't think twice about it since I understand in retail packages sometimes do get ripped open accidentally. Couple weeks later when I opened the box, by ripping open the tab, the plastic bag inside was closed with an elastic?I made a call, spoke to a woman and was advised to come in so they can further look into the situation. Went in a couple days later and turns out the individual I was speaking to was the owner, when I advised him of the situation he said "that can't happen. Not possible". I told him my story a second time with different words explaining I'm not frustrated with him or M&M Meat Shops at all - things happen, I simply want a refund, store credit, or swap for a new box. He told me this would go up the head office and they would reach out to me which I was okay with since I wasn't lying. He asked for a receipt and I advised him I don't have one but was wondering if he could pull it off the system since he used my phone number when I purchased them. He said no, and after going back and forth he turned the machine to me with a refund transaction for the correct amount (turns out he was able to find the receipt on his end even though he firmly said no at the beginning of the conversation). He continued to give me attitude, I said "I'm not sure why I'm getting this attitude from you, I'm not blaming you by any means" and then he said "bullshi*" under his breath. When I said "I wasn't lying about what I said", his response was "you got your refund. There you go. You know what they say, the customer is always right, right?". Shook my head, and left since I see where he stood.I've been a loyal customer here for 15yrs, and I'm not going to stop buying their products as that was the first time I've had an opened box sold to me. But I'm definitely going to stop going to the Harvest Hills location as the owner is very unprofessional, started using foul language with me even though I didn't, and ended the conversation with a sarcastic remark. Try the other locations for your orders, they'll be friendlier than him for sure!

I was looking for the Tasty Burgers for an upcoming BBQ, so I called to check stock. They let me know stock and they could bring in more if needed. Called me back to let me know they were going on sale this weekend too!They even called me this morning to let me know their shipment came in and set some aside for me.Customer service was 10/10. You can tell they have pride in their store and are willing to go the extra mile for customers. That means a lot! Thank you!!

Great location and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. There’s one man working that is so helpful when I go in with my toddler. Helps me quickly grab what I need and interacts with my son. Incredible customer service.
