I took my Jeep in this week to do an oil change and to fix a leak. I also asked them to take a look at the A/C and heat, as it was only working when I turned it to the maximum volume. I asked for an estimate price and time to get everything done, but I explained that the leak was the priority, and that I needed my car back the next day by the end of the day (I dropped off my car that day in the am), so if they couldn't do it all by then, to just fix the leak.
A few hours later a get a text message from them saying that it will cost $1,200 to get everything done. I asked them why was it so expensive? They replied back saying that it would be a lot of labour to fix everything, and that the leak was coming from the front crankshaft seal. I told them I wasn't expecting it to be so much and asked for a few minutes to get back to them. They replied back telling me that if I wanted done by the end of next day I had to let them know right away so they could order the parts before cut off time. I decided to go ahead with it, as I needed my car for work, and I had no time to just be shopping around for a cheaper mechanic or a second opinion at the time.
When I received the invoice, it stated that the leak was fixed and everything else was taken care of. The next day I noticed in my underground parking spot that there was a puddle of fresh leak again. I could not believe my eyes, and thought maybe it was just a residue or something that they used to wash that was still there. Today I go to my underground parking to drive my car to work, and there was a huge puddle, bigger than I ever seen before, it is now worse than when I took it in to get the leak fixed (as per pictures I posted here). So whatever they did to my Car, claiming to have "fixed that leak", they actually made it now worse than when I first brought my car in. I am extremely upset to say the least! They are closed for the weekend, and I have to wait for them to open during the week days now, to see what they are going to do about this now. But now I am wondering if I can trust these people with my Car? How do you take your Car to get fixed and they actually make it worse than before?!
Update (October 19/2024):
After they didn't fix my initial leak issue, I took my car back a second time, to get that fixed. They fixed it, without charging me anything extra for it (so they should, as it was their mistake, and I had already paid for it). However, the engine light that went on the car panel, after I had my Car initially serviced with them, they refused to get that fixed, unless I pay an additional $450.00, as they claimed it was not their doing. A day later, I spoke on the phone with their Service Manager "David Elgie", and he kept arguing that if I could find a mechanic in town who could call him and explain to him if based on the services they did on my car, was possible for them to cause my engine light to go on, that he would then authorize his guys to fix that, and not charge me anything extra for it. When I brought my car in to get fixed, that light was never on, and when I go to pick it up, the light is on. Yet, they didn't do anything to cause that, it just magically happened. And now, I have to find an outsider to prove to him that this is possible. Wow! Ignorance at its best! This is when I realized that the problem with that place is not solely his team, but him as a Manager. It takes a good leader to lead a good team. After I told him I was done with that chat, and was going to go to a lawyer with this and bring this to the "Better Business Bureau", he then agreed to fix the light and not charge me anything extra for it. So I brought my car back to their Services department a third time! They fixed the light, but 3 days later when I go to drive my car in the am to go to work, it won't start. David agrees to send a mechanic to look at it, but claims that if this was not caused by them, they would not pay for it. Turns out that when they cleared up the codes to ge

Imi Merali was excellent to work with and very professional, and honest. The dealership was welcoming. The entire process is worthy of 5 stars. Eden in finance deserves a huge shoutout. She was extremely humbling and an expert at her field. The overall atmosphere and vibe truly had the feeling that customers come first.

Employees were polite and service visit was pleasant and easy.
One thing I didn't like was getting charged for seasonal wheel storage. When I bought truck the salesperson told me storage was free.
