Wonderful place to stay. Friendly staff. We borrowed bicycles that they have available for use to ride along the river. It was the perfect stay. We will definitely come again.

Schönes kleines Hotel mit Charme. Das Zimmer war groß mit Kingsize Bett, sauber und angenehm eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbüffet war allerdings übersichtlich (nicht so viel Auswahl), qualitativ aber gut. Das Essen im Restaurant exzellent. Bushaltestelle ist um die Ecke. Zum Flughafen benötigt man über eine 1 Stunde per Bus. Mit dem Taxi 40 Minuten.

Generally positive experience with some opportunities for improvement.
The good:
- interior paint and decor in good condition
- underground parking at the back was easy to find and use
- all front end staff were very kind and helpful (shout-out to the night auditor who offered spoons for our spoonless dessert Skip order)
The not-so-good:
- yogurt and deli meat chunks during the continental breakfast were left out without ice to keep cool. Any food like this left out in a buffet setting without refrigeration for anymore than 2 hours should not be eaten for food safety reasons (high priority and easy to change).
- the mattress was sagged and difficult to sleep on, despite two different types of pillows being provided standard. I suggest you do a run of sag checks and replace any mattresses that do not pass the check (quick and easy to check, budget for replacements based on results).
Safety: Deadbolt + auto locking door handle. However, your key will not work for the deadbolt from the outside of your room.

Nice small hotel. Room was quiet and spacious, bed was comfortable. We had a nice patio outside our room. Staff were friendly and responsive. The location was almost perfect; right by the river and lots of restaurants and shops.
Our only issue during our stay was the air in our room was smokey at times. This was from the fireplace in the dining room. I'm sure some might appreciate the fireplace, but to me it seems like a bad idea in an urban area, I'm sure their neighbours don't appreciate it it either. If they give up the wood fire I would 100% come back. If a little smoke doesn't bother you, don't hesitate to book this place, it's otherwise excellent.

Great little hotel ‘home away from home’ feeling. ‘Pre and post hip replacement stay’. Staff were great in anyway assistance was required.Noteworthy details: Close to everything you may need. Windows are well sound proof so a street room is ok.

Quiet, great location, spacious and comfortable rooms. Becoming a regular.
Rooms: Calm, spacious... gas fireplace. Well appointed, quiet..
Nearby activities: Right in Kensington. A block from my fave Calgary coffee shop, cool shops.
Walkability: So much is easily accessible, and ir's right by the river, great walking trail
Food & drinks: Oxbow Resto. Superb.

This boutique Hotel is one of Calgary’s best kept secrets. all rooms are spacious quiet and are limited to how many rooms they have so it feels like a curated experience. The staff are amazing. They’re willing to go above and beyond it’s close to trails and close to the downtown core.
