I took in a ticking Ford 5.4. It wasn't fixable so I had the engine replaced. Murphy's was great! Everything went exactly as they told me it would, from engine order to installation. The times quoted for all this were right on the money and recieved my truck a couple days before Christmas. All is well and I would recommend Murphy's Auto Care Center any day!

I recently brought my van to Murphy's auto in meadow lakes, I looked up the reviews first, they had great reviews so I trusted them with my vehicle. My van had been driving funny and had the check engine light on. We had read the codes before we brought it in, it said it had a cylinder 4 misfire, told them what the codes read and also let them know my heater was blowing only cold air so I asked them too look at that as well. They called me back an hour later to say that they needed to replace all the plugs and coils and said it would be 600$ to do that and it would be an additional 180 just for them diagnosing it. When I got there I asked what was wrong with the heater and if they got it fixed, they said the heater was working and blowing warm air, and they also said it was driving just fine and wasn't shaking but that it still had the check engine light on, and would until we changed all the plugs and coils. I paid the 180 and told them I’d let them know about the plugs and coils. I drove off, my heat was still blowing cold air and my car was still misfiring and driving weird. I looked at the receipt they gave me and my mileage and realized the shop didn’t even drive my car a single mile. My mileage had not changed. How they can diagnose the problem, and tell me it was driving fine without actually driving it is crazy to me. So I paid almost 200 dollars for them to tell me nothing new and try to screw my out of an additional 600 dollars. I called my brother in law who looked at it and changed one 13 dollar spark plug and the check engine light went off and it was driving perfect again. Saved me 600 I thought I was gonna have to pay. So I definitely would not recommend Murphy’s auto for your vehicle!

we have used Murphy auto for many years now, and have been extremely happy with all of the work they have done for us. Ariana, upfront is courteous and kind and the shop is extremely knowledgeable and service is fast and the prices are fair

First visit here and we would definitely use them again! Great communication from them on a quote, to updating us on prgress to fixed! Several people recommended Murphy's and we're glad we gave them a try.

I have been going to Murphy's auto for years. When I first started going there, I would call other shops to get an estimate and Murphy's price was either very close to the other shop's numbers or less. I finally just stoped checking other places. They do excellent work and stand behind what they do.

My truck had a service airbag light on and another shop told me that I needed a new airbag module which was just over 400 dollars plus labor and programming. Went to Murphy’s for a second opinion and it turned out to just be a bad wire in the harness between the body and drivers door. They repaired the harness and my truck is fixed been going for a while now. Saved me a ton. Great service very knowledgeable mechanics. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.Service: Electrical

Pretty certain they gouged me a bit on changing my winter tires over. $150 for swapping tires. They justified the price by saying my 33’ tires cost more, they didn’t have the tool for my lug nuts and charges extra for sticky weights for balancing. Their invoice wasn’t itemized and they did not really entertain my price inquiry. I called 4 other local shops to confirm pricing and all 4 unequivocally said they gouges me by at least $20-30. Not to mention it too then almost 3 hrs to complete the job. Not a terrible service but definitely wasn’t impressed.Service: Auto tire replacement

Murphy’s was recommended by another auto shop who had a long waiting list. Says a lot to me when other mechanics recommend someone. So glad to have found Murphy’s! Kindest front desk customer service and super honest and knowledgeable mechanic! We had an odd part break in a cylinder valve and Mike fixed it right up faster and for so much less than the other guys quoted! He’ll be our go-to when we need a lift machine from now on!
