Another shop was unable to determine why our vehicle was making the noise it was making, and suggested it may be the transmission, so I called Crystal and Desmond. They got us in and determined that it was NOT the transmission and diagnosed the issue, as well as listing a few other things that were needed (which we already knew about and were planning for). Desmond found a used part in Anchorage and we were able to pick it up ourselves to save some money. Desmond was able to fix the main issue and do the other needed repairs at the same time to save us some labor costs.
If you’re looking for a local, ethical, small business shop with a knowledgeable mechanic and great communication and customer service in the MatSu, EZT is the place!

Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. They replaced the clutch in our Subaru Forester and did great work. They did what they said they were going to, when they said they were going to do it, and for the price they quoted. Great experience!

Desmond and his team diagnosed my issues the same day I dropped off my car. He then quoted me fairly as well as kept me in the loop every step of the way as costs changed and or increased. He completed my transmission repair within the first 24 hours and ended up charging me less than initially quoted. I am extremely satisfied with EZT and will be using, recommending, and praising them for the remainder of the time we live in Alaska! Thank you, and for those on the fence just stopping and talk with Desmond he will make you feel right at home!

Only shop in the valley that would replace my Subaru's valve body. Price was reasonable and service was quick without any surprises. Couple thousand miles later and everything is still working great. Would rate 6 stars but Google only goes up to 5.

Very on point and honest with everything. Always calls to update you on progress, and will make sure you get the best service possible. I had them put a new long block engine in my truck, and it was done in just 2 days, and I was back on the road. Would 100% recommend it to anyone who needs work done to their vehicle.

Fantastic service from everyone at EZT, especially Desmond! Super courteous, efficient, affordable and thorough. They got my car in for diagnostic within a week when I was having electrical issues with my car. They kept me updated the whole time, and I knew exactly what was going on. I was given a super affordable quote before they began diagnostics, and they ended up charging me a little less. They also made sure to find an affordable replacement for the part that had failed, and the replacement was quick. I'll definitely be returning!
