This is my 3rd time going there and BETTY helped me…I don’t know how long you have been working here or if you have been with the company for 20 years. Your customer service is so poor that the first time I gave you a chance because maybe you had a bad day, the second time I was upset for your attitude, but I didn’t want to leave a review, this is the 3RD time and it is enough. I am paying
For the service and YOU treating people like that is a shame. Either move to another position or retired, and I am saying in the best way, because we don’t have to deal with these bad attitudes.

This branch (Lake Otis) has reliably courteous, attentive, helpful, & professional personnel at the counter. The facility is well maintained and clean.My sole COMPLAINT is that the parking area, and especially the entry from the street (Lake Otis Drive), is almost undriveable due to needing to be cleared of snow and ice.

My passport was mailed from the department of state to anchorage. I received my birth certificate on January 16, 2024. I called the department of state to check why my passport hasn’t been sent yet. They checked and it was delivered on the post office system. I went to the post office on B St and they showed paperwork showing that it was delivered to a different address. This is a legal document! I’m traveling soon! Post office on B St advised that I go directly to the post office in Lake Otis because they deal with our area. I went to the post office in lake Otis twice and they voiced that the supervisor will “call me”. I have been waiting and I still haven’t receive a call. This passport has all of my information!!!! They have the correct address on file but they delivered my passport to a way different. I can’t believe this!! I’m so disappointed! This is a very serious issue and you expect me to wait smh. It’s a legal document bro ??♀️ at least speak to me face to face instead of telling your employees to tell you’ll call . It’s been 2 days and I still haven’t received a call smh

The mail carriers should be ashamed of themselves. This is Alaska. Snow happens. You place notices in peoples' mailboxes, stating they will no longer receive mail until the snow in front of their mailboxes has been cleared...YOU HAD TO GET OUT OF YOUR VEHICLE TO PLACE THESE NOTICES IN THE MAILBOXES. I guess the whole, "come rain or sleet or snow" doesn't mean much to some of you. The carriers on this side of town are lazy. You knew this was Alaska when you started working for the Post Office.

Please train the drivers on how to process eBay standard envelopes. They MUST be scanned and sometimes they have to be scanned a few times for it to work. eBay should get one star.I give two stars here because there are some good folks at this USPS station.However, I have never seen so many lost packages as I have seen with this post office. Actually, zero lost packages until I moved into this USPS service area and now I have seen at least three of my own packages lost and several items delivered to my neighbors as others have described here too.And i seriously dread it if I have to go through the office service line. The self service kiosk machine is great. But if you have to stand in line... Oof. Forget about it. Waiting forever and then yeah.... Sorry but as others have said here, not the most helpful postal workers.

USPS . Com says this location has self service kiosk open until 8pm but I got here at 7:30pm and the doors were locked with no way inside. Very disappointed, all I wanted to do was mail a letter.
