“Customer service here saved my life.I was supposed to take a flight but had problems with my ATM. They went out of their way and beyond to actually walked up to ATM with me just to test it out.There was a black teller and a white guy sitting on his desk with beard on the right hand side of the branch when you walk in.They were just awesome.I was actually thinking about getting rid of Wellsfargo account but those two changed my mind.My visit was around 2:15pm,Thursday, 8/10/23.Sorry I forgot your names but awesome job and thank you very much.”

“We do most of our banking in this South Fred Meyer location. I worked for this company straight outta high school, so I've had a lot of the same stuff for years. I don't care about the upcoming name change. Alaska born and raised folks know - CU1 is for Alaskans. CU1 just doesn't do it for me. It's the convenience of "Global," for me. It's the hours for me. It's keeping the waiting times down for me. Employees are helpful and consistent (what's said here, will stand at the location across the street). Love being able to grab a prescription or a few groceries after my transaction.”

“This is your friendly neighborhood Global Credit Union branch. I have done business and personal banking with them. I go here once a week and listen the staff here is well hired I will say. They are ALL class acts very helpful and going out of their way to be friendly. The wait can be long at times but that is the case everywhere else. I have tested this theory. Let’s be patient everyone, the staff here makes it worth the wait.I will say one last thing. Try starting a new business, starting your life over from scratch, and having zero in Anchorage in 2020. Global Credit Union which was Alaska USA back then and particularly this branch are the ones who said yes to my business account, mortgage, and personal account when others said no. A difficult time in my life and they helped me. Here we are three years later, successful business, mortgage is strong, and you know my personal life is blessed. Maybe too much credit to this place but the good Lord knows they were a part in this plan and so do I.”

“I personally believe this branch of FNBA is the best! I actually go out of my way to come here vs. the Dimond branch, because the people are so very friendly. They make a point to remember your name, resolve any issues you may have, and are pretty quick to process transactions.Specifically, the branch manager, Rachel, is a gem. She really helped me when my Mom passed away last year and helped with the process to switch the accounts into my name. I had ALOT of questions and in general needed help. As someone who was still grieving at the time, Rachel made the process very easy and really took the time to listen and truly cared for my situation.This was a major improvement from my experiences at the Dimond branch, which left me in tears at times. I was almost ready to close the accounts and go to another financial institution, but Rachel and her staff changed my mind with their professional and friendly service.Thank you Piper Street branch! “The best credit union I’ve been too so far. Staff is always kind and super helpful. I’ve had issues with my account since opening it and every time I think about going to close my account I’m greeted with the most helpful staff. “I love Charles Schwab, Mobile checks deposit quicker than any other place. I used to have Wells Fargo while my husband had Schwab. We would cash checks same time and his was ready to use within minutes, and mine would take about a day to process. Schwab also refunds atm fee withdrawals. I especially love this feature. When out traveling I never have to worry about annoying fees. Must have bank!”
