“The Diplomat Deli serves incredible food and offers an excellent beer selection! And the owner and staff are simply the best!!!I ordered an excellent grilled chicken club sandwich that was flavorful and juicy!It was a great change from one of my all time favorite sandwiches. Their club sandwich (that I get served on grilled pumpernickel) is super TASTY and AMAZING ?Don't forget....tis the season for their famous chili!!!Gotta dip into the Dip!!!”

“Relatively small location located in this strip mall in Vestavia Hills. They really had a good selection to choose from, especially when it comes to wine. Most liquor stores, that I have been in, don't have this much to choose from (wine). Also, in the back of the store they have beer from local breweries, nice touch! I don't think I've ever been in a liquor store that has beer, let alone promotes local, really cool.As for the rest of the store, there is the standard selection of vodka, tequila, rum, whiskey, etc. Since it's kind of a small store, they may not have a ton of stock of each item, but they have an overall good selection.Staff was friendly and greeted me upon entry and wished me a good day when I left. If I was in the area and needed something, I'd stop by this location again.”

“I think I say this about all liquor store in the state that aren't ABC stores. Overall, it stinks for them and their patrons. They run a great store. But our ABC board in Alabama is a flat out monopoly/dictatorship. Really tough to deal with them. So I will not blame Cahaba spirits for their situation. The big thing as so many of my reviews harp on the convenience. We just moved this part of town. There is no ABC store here. So if I want a quick trip, this is a great spot to go. Aside from the prices, the selection isn't fantastic. Not to mention their wine doesn't have prices. So the one thing they can control the price on, I don't know what I'm paying. But the people are always really friendly and quick. Overall, the convenience is the only reason I have come here. And I will keep going. They haven't given a reason why I shouldn't when I'm in a pinch or don't want to hop on 280.”
