Saturday 10/14/23 cashier pulled up at 7:59am went inside and I assume clocked in then promptly came out and said she had to run down the street to get breakfast. Returned a half hour later at 830am. Leaving my wife and I standing outside among several other people. If we hadn't walked from loves where we were parked we would have left. Won't be Returning again.

This is the worst dollar general ever! They are never until til 10. 20 people have pulled up and left because they are close untill 6:00 pm! Makes no sense at all !Shorter Alabama y’all dollar general is terrible

Depending on who checks you out, depends on if they are nice or not. I am at the store right now, and the doors are shut with a sign that says, "Will be back shortly"" Management". Been here a while. Coke delivery guy has been here so long, he just left. He does have a delivery route to keep on top of. He loaded all of that on his carts....now he is having to unload back into the truck

I tried to go here once. The store should have been open per the store hours posted on the door. They were not open and the employee cleaning the parking lot was rude when I asked for clarification.

I love Shorter's progress but lately Dollar General has failed us all! Namely, the registers with new machines are always down. Cash only transactions! Bathrooms not working! No helium for the balloons they sell! It depends on who's working as to rather or not the visit will be pleasant. The residents deserve better. We've prayed for progress and here it what we are served.
