Encore is my favorite furniture store in Birmingham, and just one of my favorite stores in general. I’ve purchased several pieces of furniture from them over the last couple of years, and all have been great quality. The staff is so friendly and helpful the minute you enter the store, I always leave with complete confidence in my purchases. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase new furniture or home decor!

I purchased 2 fern pictures and the 3rd picture from this group was out of stock. I was fine with only purchasing the 2 they had in stock but the sales person rang up 3 pictures. No problem, but at the time I didn’t understand they wouldn’t ship, which is ridiculous when I’m willing to pay shipping. I live way too far to come back to pick up. I did actually make a trip back to the store over a year later to pick up the 3rd picture they had charged to my card. I spoke with a manager who said had sold my picture (which I had already paid for) but would re-order and contact me to make yet another trip to pick up. I never heard a word back and haven’t been able to make the trip to confront them again. Why would I go back after the first trip when they told me they had sold my picture which I had already paid for? This business charged my card and refuses to produce what I paid for. Nothing less than theft. I would file a case in small claims court but after the fees, it would cost more than I paid. They charged my card and then re-sold my picture without refunding me. This is theft.

I experienced the best customer service I've seen in years at this location. Upon entering the store my husband and I were greeted by all staff members. We were made to feel at home from the onset. As we walked around the store, the sales representatives inquired if we where finding everything we needed. Although the sales representative may have been working with other customers they also checked in on us from time to time. This experience warmed my heart. This store is one of my favorite places to shop. Awesome services ladies.

This home store was such a nice surprise. I was expecting consignment furniture but they have new furniture as well. The Show room is beautifully staged and it's easy to find everything. So much to look at! Go when you've got time to browse.I'm buying a headboard from them for much less than I would have bought new. The headboard looks like new and is absolutely beautiful.

I absolutely LOVE this store. I have bought countless items from them and have never had any problems. The staff is friendly and very professional. You have to take time to browse because there are always new beautiful surprises around every corner. I highly recommend.

My mom and I drove 2 hours to go to Encore. It was well worth the trip! They have lots of furniture on the floor ready to sell. I purchased 3 beautiful pieces with the help of Sarah, who was absolutely fabulous! She helped me put together pieces that are going to look so pretty in my home. She went above and beyond to help! Thanks again, Sarah! We will be returning soon!
