I have stayed at different marriott brands all over the world including JW, the Ritz and the St Regis. Most of time I stay at the Fairfield within the US. Courtyard not so much more since most of them are outdated. Funny thing is I like the old style with the courtyard and the balconies. But most of them are outdated. This one is no exception. Having said that, I don’t understand the bad reviews. The hotel is in a great location right off 85, it is CLEAN. People are confusing old with cleanliness, yes it is old but no it is not dirty. Yes not everything works 100% but then I have never been to a hotel where everything. Works 100%. Last year I had over 70 separate hotel stays. I am platinum member son know what I am talking about Highly recommended. And the best thing is : the people are super nice and accommodating .Rooms: Clean and well furnished nice bathroom with a tub

This place is a dump! Does not meet any Marriott standards . We checked in and the room was smelly , dirty and beat up. We canceled the reservation and got our money back...went to Springhill downtown....fantastic property....great location. Do yourself a favor and don't go to this

Not a great place to stay, far beneath what I would expect from Marriott. The hotel is in disrepair, needs renovations badly. There is a weird smell in the room. It's like an old musty smell. The mattress was well worn and needs replacement, but linens were clean. The staff was not very friendly. The market was not stocked, The furnishings were old, worn and chipped up. The carpets are dingy, and nasty. There is mold growing where the walls meet the ceiling in the bathroom. The only positive was tub and toilet were clean, but the sink had hair in it and it was quiet. The lobby was better. I believe this hotel should be an embarrassment to Marriott. I will not stay here again, and would not recommend it.

Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay. Staying here wasn’t a good experience. I didn’t have a good night of sleep due to HARD and UNCOMFORTABLE pillows, didn’t rest and woke up tired. Sink was clogged up, bath tub was clogged up as well.Rooms: Uncomfortable and hard pillows. Clogged sink and clogged bathtub

We booked a room. There was a bunch of hair near the pillows and a weird smell. We asked for a different room, and the other room was full of spiders. We decided to go somewhere else. They receptionist gave us a hard time about canceling our reservation and getting a full refund. We asked for the manager and suddenly it was possible for her to cancel and refund. We ended up going to a Springhill suites downtown for $30 more, and we were in a beautiful clean hotel with free continental breakfast!!! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!!

We just checked in the front desk was very nice, this place doesn’t seem Narriot Worthy, it smells, it’s dated, the snack area has nothing in it, just a few chocolate bars, very disappointed, the area doesn’t seem to safe! I would rate this 2 stars! Will look more closely at other Courtyards now!Rooms: Old need updatingNearby activities: Not sureSafety: In a sketchy areaWalkability: Walk to Burger kingFood & drinks: No snacks in snack area by the desk!

Difficult to get to off interstate.No customer service.Was given a room that had people in It already.Had to take all our luggage to go back to front desk and the clerk was not customer service friendly. Just said oh I will give u another room.The room was dusty and toilet set was not clean.Towels look stained. Luckily I always bring some bleach spray with me to wipe stuff down.I would not recommend staying here.

Probably the worst Marriott brand hotel I’ve ever stayed at. First and foremost the building is in disrepair. Rainwater is pouring out of light fixtures in the hallway. The cleaning staff needs new management. It took 5 days, after multiple requests to have my room cleaned and fresh towels dropped off. The Bistro was not open or staffed during the advertised hours. Couldn’t get coffee or a meal when I needed it. Although the front desk staff was always nice, the whole hotel needs new management. Lastly, the hotel is in a bad area of town. Be sure to lock your doors.

Let me preface this by saying I am a loyal Marriott member. Domestic and international travel, we look for Marriott properties. This is the worst I have ever stayed in.Overbooked for the weekend ? so we got bumped out of the room we booked and into a different room. (We did the mobile check in early this morning AND showed up earlier in the day to check in and they wouldn’t let us)The sheets were too small for the bed and wouldn’t stay on. Room keys didn’t work. Door locks on the outside of the building didn’t work to let you in. They had out of order signs everywhere… my husband went downstairs and said there were a handful of others in the lobby also having the same issues.Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.

This place needs some customer service training and quality assurance control.We checked in as part of a group for a volleyball tournament. I found a towel on the floor of the bathroom behind the door as well as a towel hanging up on the hook behind the door after we unpacked. Then the shampoo, conditioner and bath wash were all empty in the shower.I called the front desk and the best that was offered was an apology and a promise that a note would be left with the cleaning staff. Apparently, they did not have any additional towels, nor shampoo and conditioner to give me. Seriously!!!I asked for a different room because I had just checked in and was told they were sold out.The sign bearing, “Courtyard Marriott” should be taken down from this establishment.

Very professional and warm greeting as I entered the hotel which I love after working and traveling. Nice spacious room and comfy bed with pillows.Noteworthy details: The courtyard is absolutely beautiful.

Claire was fantastic. Super sweet and positive. Definitely made my day better after driving for 10 hours.Rooms: My room was clean, had great views and was well laid out.
