“Ate here for the first time on Wednesday march 13th. Came in around 1:15 so it wasn’t crazy full. I ordered the fried chicken breast with green beans and mac and cheese as a side. Food was pretty good although my chicken breast needed more seasoning. My best friend’s fish was very well seasoned. I like the atmosphere here and seating is available outside or inside. Very rude employee working there however. Light skinned guy wearing a cap and busing tables did not want to be at work. He was passing by and I decided to ask him how the slices of cake tasted. He did not stop walking and I had to say excuse me like three times before he finally stopped, glanced back, mad as heck, and gave me the nastiest look and, said in a smart tone, “ of course it is” . Then he just walked off. Totally unacceptable behavior and uncalled for. I ended up not buying any cake because of his nasty attitude and left.”
“wow, this place has been re-done since I was last in. Large, lots of selections and shopping area. Nice clean restrooms a definite plus. And it is right off 85 with a very very short drive (right next to Southbound onramp) from the Interstate.”
“Clean store,very good gas prices. They also have free air to fill up your tires with! The clerks/cashiers I've dealt with are also very nice and so friendly. Would recommend to any one of my family or friends!!!!!!😊”

“The 2 men behind counter were really nice & helpful, however I had difficulty understanding them... not sure if it was there voice or distance. They were quick & professional. The store is older & therefore seems to look crowded with products & not as clean as u see in newer stores. Gas is priced cheaper!”

“Not bad. There's a light in front so for me, coming in from carriage hills, it's convenient. Decent beer selection, for Montgomery, which is saying nothing. I'm amazed people still drink cheap american beer when they have so many choices and MGM is a craft beer wasteland so at least there's a few choices here. High volume. Decent gas prices. Service sucks. Register person was on her phone the whole time. Really? Other than that for Montgomery, this place is ok.”

“This is so exciting! I've lived here for so long and I never knew there was a Afro-Caribbean store! I purchased some j*** paste and dry rub, along with some oxtail seasoning. Sometimes you can find these items at the large international market near the southern Blvd., but it's so far away from me. This is a significantly smaller store, but they do have the most popular items if someone wanted to cook Afro-Caribbean food. The only mark I'm giving against them is it's a bit unorganized and cluttered.”

“Moved to the area not too long ago and was overjoyed to find this specialty store located in walking distance to my residence. Living downtown has many pros but one con is not having direct access to convenient stores to grab items quickly. Knicker Knacker has bridged that gap by providing essential need items and a plethora of other items for its customers. Amazing customer service and friendly smiles are the cherry on top to my shopping experience at this location. Highly recommended!”
