“I had to come & write about the wings!!!! I thought it was sandwich only but they have groceries, even an stand with hot food. You can get rotisserie chicken whole. Different flavor wings sauce only. When I say I'll be back then teriyaki wings were 10 for $7.99 without a wait!!!!”

“Don’t know what brand of gas they’re using but I’ve tried other brands including top tier brands and Big A gas provides the best mileage for my 2021 Elantra SEL, hands down. People behind the counter are always nice.”

“Without a doubt this place serves the best corn dogs that I have eaten to date in Alabama. The batter was light, there was no oil or greasy taste, the inside was hot and when you add Texas Pete and Heinz mustard you are in Nirvana! The rest of the store is your typical convenience store and also sells hard liquor. I did not try any other food items but they all looked good and fresh. The physical location is immaculate, Good thing that the store is relatively far from my house or I'd be as big as a house eating those corn dogs!! Super nice people working the store as well. Nice job.”

“Surprisingly nice workers and it is very clean. I came in for just two bags of ice and it was a great experience. I routinely buy gas from here and it's always well maintained and lit. Keep up the good work. Thanks!”

“Friendly Staff. Great neighbors. Very helpful when you need help. No public bathrooms!! If you are a rich person like the people below, don't stop you'll be judgemental. David Keel is a sick man. Very bad reviews.”

“This is my go-to stop for my gas. I love the fact that it is close to my home. The gas station has at least 15 pumps, so it's easier to find one to get your gas pumped quickly. When you go inside, you can try White Bison, which offers coffee or great food items. I love the donut section of this establishment. The best thing about this place is customer service. Very cool and friendly staff and the restrooms are clean.”

“Great place to grab a quick bite for lunch and fill up on gas! A super clean, and friendly place. They have amazing homemade cakes the Red Velvet is my favorite.”

“Normal older station. I have had to use their lot twice for a blown tire. I didn't get any grief from the owners while I changed my tire and used the bathroom to wash my hands.”

“I stop here all the time when I am meeting up with friends for a bike ride. The folks who own the place are super friendly and are always willing to help out a traveler. People complain about the gas prices, but they are in line with other stations that are right off the Interstate............so if you don't like the price............. go someplace else! They also have a great selection of homemade biscuits with tenderloin, steak, chicken and bologna in the morning. Well made and tasty!”

“The guys behind the counter are always super nice. I'm glad the store is still running. My grandmother used to bring us here all the time for snacks when it was "Strong's" convenient store when we were younger.”

“They have ethanol free premium gas (essentially, boat gas). I can tell if I get gas somewhere else that has ethanol in it. You have to look at the pump carefully to see which nozzle is the right one though as most of the pumps have ethanol. This is great for mowers and things too, but only on a small scale.”

“I filled up at this Shell/Twice Daily recently and it was my first time in a Twice Daily, although I used to work at the Shell gas stations with the tiny attendant booths back in the day, so I have been to tons of Shell gas stations. This TD/Shell was super clean with easy access from 72 or Balch Road. The pumps worked as expected and trash cans were not overflowing. There were plenty of gas pumps, and parking spots. The store interior was stocked well, and was clean and modern. The TD offers all the convenience store accoutrements you would expect except vino. There is no vino in this store. They do have beer for sale.I can't speak to the coffee or the restrooms as I just glanced around the TD and got back to running errands. Thanks, TD, for offering a large, clean, well-lighted gas station experience in a part of town that really needs this (I'm looking at you Mapco on the north side of 72 at County Line Road - which is super tight in terms of space and frequented by panhandlers)!”

“Quick and easy to get a fill up and prices are usually competitive. I'm not sure if this is top tier gas, but I'm positive that your car will use it if you put it in the tank.”

“All my experiences here have been without par. Location is always clean, the people have always been friendly and the food is not bad. Most recently I had a corn dog which was very well prepared. Cooked to perfection and not loaded with grease. Busy during the lunch time so expect a line to pay, but well worth it.”

“The employes here are good hard working people. They are vary helpfull if you are looking for somthing you can't find and they are fast at the checkout. They also have a nice selection of cigars. Not a big one but a nice one. That's somthing you don't see at just any gas station. I recommend trying one of the acid Blondie's.”

“Mi Mexico Taqueria in this Texaco is the best burrito I have found in the area and competes with my NM heritage. Love this place! Try to go as often as possible since it is out of my way. Thank you Texaco for having this little restaurant in there. I only ever get the huevos con chorizo burrito so no comments on anything else. Large is now $8 but worth it!”

“A little more expensive here than at the Payless down the street but it's way cleaner & the coolers don't smell like mildew. I like to stop at the convenience store on this side of county line for that reason”

“This Marathon gas station is on Old Madison Pike and Slaughter Road. It has competitively priced gas and the inside has the usual convenience store items. All in all, I would definitely recommend a visit here.”

“This Texaco is convenient. Gas, drinks, whatever you need. Not open 24 hours but that's ok. Not much traffic out there after midnight anyway. They do not have local craft beers but they do have WD-40.”

“Our car wouldn't start after stopping to get gas and the kind opener changed the battery in our key fob, figured out how to pop the hood and then got out car working. He went over and beyond to help us in excessive heat. Thank you!”

“Very neat and clean. Very well stocked and organized. Friendly employees. One of the nicer convenience store/service stations I have ever had the pleasure to stop and enter. Stopped to ask directions. Will keep my eyes out for more MinitMan Food stores during my travels. Really impressed.”

“The person working there is usually nice and if you have the Kroger card you save a little more than the other gas stations around. Only negative thing is I have a manual and sometimes the pump will stop after like a dollar or two and I have to fight with it to give me a full tank. Only heard of this happening with manuals.”

“i’ve never had an issue going here. it’s convenient being open 24/7 . someone complained about hand washing after spilling gas over his hands and worker not allowing it. If it was in the middle of the night and if the customer may have been a bit aggressive in his or her tone, working alone in a not so good area, I’d probably hesitate too. But in general they all are very friendly and have always unlocked door in the middle of the night for me to shop.”
