I’ve never known a dollar general to have a hand written employee sign placed on the door stating she’s locking the doors from 11:45 to 12:20 so she can have a break. I’ve watched at least 8 cars pull up, read the sign, and leave. Guess there’s a first time for everything.

Terrible store! I’m disabled and I actually saw the lady locking the door before I could get up the sidewalk good! I actually needed the supplies I was trying to purchase with my health savings card! Being on a monthly income and getting in a bind before payday will suck this day forward in Jemison! Been here over 10 years and I can’t believe they have these type of inconsiderate people working here now! I called and Robin was on shift saying the close a few minutes early! So I asked before 8:55pm and of course she didn’t see me! I don’t know when DG corporation started letting their employees make the hours!? Then she go say it’s another DG on the other side of the interstate if I could make it there! I barely made it here but it looks like I still wasn’t on time for her polices! Need better help around here asap!

Friendly, clean inside but parking lot could use a cleaning... Fairly well stocked and in appropriate area with prices including sale items/notices easy to see.. also cashier/manager was manning the register and self checkout was working... I did have issue with machine but cashier person in charge was quick to come to aid and correct issue quickly with no hassle because I had proof ready to show... Would recommend any day over any store in Clanton... It is like night and day versus the North Clanton and 2nd avenue (old Fred's or Winn Dixie location) compared to this Jemison location...

Considering there are usually just 2 employees at a DG, they do pretty good with all unloading, stocking, cleaning store---register & closeout . And people like me usually asking where's somethin.

I've been going to this store since it open I live 2 miles from it. The store was really nice when it opened,but now it's nasty never stocked, most of the people that work here are lazy and rude once I went in there was a written note on the counter saying don't call out for me come find me if you need checking out never noone at the register to wait in you.i was in one night and this older lady was standing waiting on someone to help her I went to get someone for her and was told to just use self checkout she didn't know how. Tonight I was there and the cashier was helping someone at self checkout I was waiting for her to check me out and she just walked away and started sweeping the floor and left me standing there until so girl came out of office dragging like she was in no hurry. Why are y'all there if y'all hate your job so bad? This place needs to be cleaned up and hire some new people who want to work and enjoy being around people.

Employees are awesome! They are working hard to keep store clean and stocked. Self checkout is nice to have. I know the employees have so much to do. The reason they don’t have anything on shelf is cause a shortage of truck drives. Employees can only do so much when no one wants to work. Jemison store 8862 is a store you should thank the workers. Not fuss at them.
