I brought my cat in today and it was genuinely the best vet experience I’ve ever had. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and understanding. My cats and I are very anxious creatures so I really appreciate the kindness and calmness of the environment. This will be our regular vet, thank you so much.

I’ve been to this clinic before, but today was my first time meeting Dr. Rawls and the Nurse/Assistant (Whatever the correct terminology is… I apologize) who helped her complete care of my cat Kiki. When I tell you these two women were amazing— I absolutely mean it. I have never felt so comfortable and at peace with a medical provider like this in my entire life. They handled my baby with so much care, addressed every concern I had all while going above and beyond for us. Don’t get me wrong, everyone in this clinic from front desk to the other Doctor/Nurse and in between have all just been so beyond pleasant. But I literally teared up in the car after Kiki’s appointment today because everything about it just felt so wonderful and I was so beyond happy my girl got the best possible care. If you’re looking for a healthcare home for your fur baby— this might just be the place for you. And Dr. Rawls… you rock! We love you!

Another great experience with Dr Rawls. Lots of options. Everything she has done has worked. No hit and miss diagnosis trying expensive cures. Takes time to explain what's going on. Always feel like I can trust her for the best outcome at an economical price.

I know that what we had to experience was a rare case. We had to put to sleep our dog. She lived her life as an extremely high anxiety and aggressive dog. She didn't like anyone or anything as we learned rather quickly after adopting her from HAS (Huntsville Alabama Services) 4 months ago to the day we had to put her down. She was a sweet loving dog mostly to me and did love my husband but she didn't like men. She was protective of me.. unfortunately because of that she had hurt my husband with bites.
I'd taken her to the dog park early on right away. She tried to semi attack a dog. I snatched her up when that happened we never went back.
I couldn't have my grandkids over because I wasn't sure she would realize they weren't a threat. Ultimately she bit my neighbor..
So the problem I have with Animal Care Clinic is this.
They had already established that she was a bite risk due to males especially. We had to sit in the car from 11 am which was our appointment time until 12:45 we had requested a muzzle knowing that she could be a bite risk to anyone especially males which had been previously documented in a prior visit.
They sent a man out......... why idk.. it was documented.. she's a bite risk especially to men..
The euthanasia didn't go as planned. It was quite awful to be perfectly honest with everyone
I had talked extensively with the person the day before to make this go as smooth as it could go. They brought a male tech out and it was on like donkey Kong. Our 11 am appointment we sat in the car with a muzzle on her face thinking we'd be seen soon. It wasn't until about 12:45 until they sent the MALE technician out for us!!!! Like did you read the notes! I was told specifically that it was going to be a mostly female staff. And somehow they sent a male out to get us?????
Her final moments also didn't go well.
I've worked in vet care and have had to assist with end of life situations. This was a horror show. It should take from sedation until the final injection 15 mins tops. That didn't happen with her.
I had told them she is extremely aggressive she is high strung to the max..
It took 2 injections to calm her down a bit and 4 injections of the pink stuff to put her fully down. Final one being directly to the heart.
She was a 30 lb dog. I believe that they ended up giving her a dog twice the size to make it happen.
In some ways that confirms for me that we made the right choice to ease her stress and anxiety.
After seeing her absolute fight till the end. We made the right choice.
My complaint is that no one believed that she was as str9ng
