“In a day where it is hard to get good service, we got excellent service from Adam. He helped my husband find two suits with all the accessories. Shirts, ties, pocket squares, cuff links. They even sell shoes. Custom tailoring on the suits is included with the price. Came on a Saturday and the tailoring will be done on Tuesday. Sweet! We will back, I'm sure. Prices are great!”

“Girls at the Hoover location were fun and helpful! I bought 2 pairs of DR Martens, Birkenstock clogs, and Cole Hahn dress shoes for several different reasons. I also purchased several extra pairs so I could let my son try them on at home because he had a funeral out of town for his best buddies family member. We were stressed out and trying to get outfits together and he is NOT a fan of shopping. I explained that I was buying more than I needed and they were very helpful and didn’t frown at me when I returned a couple of pairs that didn’t work. I actually ended up buying more than I expected because they were so helpful that when I asked about a discount on Dr martens they told me to check the website. The price online was significantly lower $169 in store vs. $99 on line. When I asked if they would match the online price they asked the manager for me and I received the discounted price which was a huge help at Christmas time! Fun to shop there as I was there for several hours over a 2 day period buying and returning shoes. Good customer service and very helpful and of course I was shopping near closing time! If they were irritated it wasn’t to my face which was nice with everything we had going on during the holidays. I recommend this location!”
“KICK START! My fiancé and I are both sneaker heads. We love our shoes. Finding the next best thing and shoes that others might not wear but we love is something we pride our selves on. Coming from Florida where we had access to so many different shoe boutiques and stores, it had been increasingly difficult for us to find new sneaker stores we can call "home" I think we were defiantly spoiled by the stores in Florida. Something has been off about both of us lately, maybe it is because we have not yet found that store to call home or maybe its because neither of us have bough shoes in the past year or so with the move. So today I decided we were finally going to go out and look to see what we could find. The last time we had tried to come into City Gear it was closed. It was right around the holidays and it seemed like there was some staffing issues so the store was closed. I was so happy to see it open today. The store is huge. It has so many great options. From Nike, Adidas, Fill and puma you are surely to find something you love. There were all sizes available too which was also a plus. I highly recommend coming in if you are looking for the next best show or items of clothing.”
“Usual experience. Limited golf supplies. Lots of baseball, basketball, and football. Slim racquet sports as well. Limited guns and ammo. The usual names in look at me clothes with huge labels. UA Nike Reebok etc. Gear for freshwater fish. No fly fishing or saltwater gear. A few kayaks.Atlanta Braves are in the post season and this place has no jersey’s right t-shirts. No hats either. I don’t get it. Driving to Georgia to give them my money. Not Academy though.”

“Alright (i’m gonna come clean)I am the one who took this, photo ..I hated working at this place after a 1 year than then the pandemic happened for all of us ..yup, SAS was still open and doing curb side service. However, not much service at all .. but I was basically there for EASY FREE MONEY, till society decided to prevail through it..Anyways, if you’re considering working for this place I would consider somewhere else there’s no promotion there’s no raises in pay and I was a very very good customer service and manager attendant. However, for me when months went by after employment, my hiring manager decided to retire and step down, I was left standing alone with the associate who had left for another job..so when the smoke cleared, it was just me standing !!So, Again you might wanna think about that before trying to get employment at this place thanks for reading ?God bless and stay safe !!”
