I had a terrible experience with this location. There were ANTS all inside the car when I received it. At first I saw just one ant but a few minutes later there were many more. I called back and apparently there were no more cars to exchange the ant infested one. I am very upset that the staff would let someone drive in a car with so many ants inside. Very poor service.

Do not rent car at that location!!!!i was Renting a car there and they ask me to return the car washes other way they will gonna charge you 400$!!!! Be aware!!! Very rude staff as well

Customer Service at this location is Terrible!! ?? I was charged for a week's rental even though I brought the vehicle back on what I thought was day "three" (Thursday) not knowing that that was day FIVE because they consider the day (Monday) I picked the car up, as day ONE. I called on Friday to find out why I had been charged for the entire week since I returned the rental "early", was supposed to get a call back after researching but no one called back. I called this morning to get a resolution with this issue, was put on hold for an HOUR, only to call back and be told that actually because I returned the vehicle after the time I picked it up on, that was considered the next day, however the day that I picked it up on, is already considered as ONE day... makes no sense to me. So I was charged for SEVEN days for a "THREE" day rental. If someone had of explained their system to me initially, I would have just kept the vehicle and drove it, even though I didn't need it because I still ended up paying for it any way. HORRIBLE customer service.

I dropped my car off for repairs and I had a reservation to pick my rental car up. When I got there they didn’t have a car for me and didn’t know when they would get one. If it wasn’t for a friend I would have been stranded. You can’t depend on Hertz. The worst experience ever.

Historically, when I would rent a vehicle from Hertz the vehicle would be clean and full of gas. Not the case with this vehicle.... It was dirty on the inside, the windows were all smudged with fingerprints, the fuel tank was not full, and the passenger seat was laid all the way back.I gave it three stars because the vehicle met my needs but the service and the cleanliness of the vehicle was lacking.

Don’t EVER go to Hertz in Hoover, AL! I had a reservation for a car and paid my money, but they did not have a car available! They also made me stand outside in a line for over an hour only to tell me they didn’t have any more cars. 7/22/2021

I really miss there old Employees. Especially Sadie. I have been renting from this location for at least 5 years with my company for business and personal. Now the young lady they have their is so rude. They put you on hold for a day. This location needs revamping with better customer service skills. Hertz you all need to get it together

Very disappointing. I experienced unprofessional customer service via the phone. Made a reservation for which once I arrived they stated that they had no record of me calling and making the reservation. My phone log shows I talked to them twice before I arrived. I plan not to use that particular Hertz location again.

I arrived at my scheduled appointment and was told to wait outside due to Covid-19. I waited 45 minutes in 90 degree heat till I could be seen. The Store Associate Amanda earlier told me I can make a deposit with my debit card earlier that week on the telephone. At the appointment I was told I couldn't rent the vehicle because of mis information I was given. The Manager Gregory and Amanda were both very unprofessional and dishonest. Just go to Enterprise.

A rental car place that has no cars, despite a 3 week notice.This location is a scam and a rip off, do yourself a favor and rent from the airport location. The power of social media will cancle this location.

My boyfriend and I had an awful experience with them. We booked a reservation for an SUV for the weekend of Easter the Saturday before Easter. We we arrive at the rental place they tell us that we now have to have a major credit card and a $500 deposit before we can rent. Please keep in mind that the rental in total was going to be $160 for the weekend, and they also mentioned that was a new policy that had just gone into effect the Friday before we picked up the car. All in all the staff wasn’t very helpful and I’m still wondering why we never got an email or call about this “policy change”. I should have read the reviews before we booked.

Worst experience ever with this location. Had a reservation Monday 22nd and arrived Wednesday 24th and I was told no vehicle after looking through her system for about 15mins. The next person after me got a car and drove out. She did that just because I questioned her about occupancy inside the building. I will recommend enterprise or Alamo over hertz
