The energy each staff member gives off is about the same, which is a bit unsettling, but besides that, there's lots of decent deals everywhere you look. The Publix generic brand groceries are also really tasty for a good price! I recommend their BBQ chips, they're really well seasoned.”

I guess some people like salad with mayo instead of ranch, ceaser or blue cheese, which is what I thought it was but not...I would of expected anything else & would of been happy with either of the other...but mayonnaise?the rest of store is great & rest of deli was great...just beside myself. not traumatized but not 5 star.”

“Everything was clean, well-layed out to help even new comers to locate desired items, and clearly marked. I wanted fresh bean sprouts, but didn't find any, and the fresh mushrooms were sparse, but still the offerings were superior to my local supermarket.I am glad I made the effort to drive to the closest, yet 15 miles away, Sprouts. Will make a fresh market trip at least once a week.”

“Hello, My name is Prince Hardy and I'm writing this to inform the bakery managers Edmund Joseph and Michael Parish on how such a horrible experience turned into a wonder experience. On January 17,2024 I came into the Lee Branch location to order a special birthday cake. I showed the representative the picture of what I was wanting and they insured me that they could make something similar to what I showed them. At that time I set the cake to be picked up on Friday January 19th @ 4:00pm. January 19th comes and I running a little late due to work but I get to the store around 5:30pm. When I arrive I was greeted and the representative went back to get the cake. IT WAS 100% HORRIBLE. Another representative that was working in the back (now I know to be Emmiline) saw the expression on my face and came to assist. Emmiline looked at the cake and the first thing she said to me was "IM SORRY, DO YOU HAVE 10 MINS SO I CAN MAKE THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?" I told her yes and showed her exactly what I was wanting. Emmiline made the exact cake with the exact colors that I was wanting in literally 10 mins. Due to Emmiline's AMAZING customer service and wiliness stop what she was doing to fix an issue that could have ruined a birthday, I will definitely be back. THANK YOU!”

“When I'm shopping at my other grocery stores 9 times out of 10, I do not purchase my meat there. I purchased my meat at the pig! ? That's right! I'm almost certain to come out with at least three or four packages of meat for around $20! ?? Do not ? sleep on the pig! If you haven't checked out their meat selection, you are missing out! ? Also, the people that work there are very nice! GO CHECK EM OUT!! ?”

“Kind of the place that sets the bar for any of your grocery shopping needs. All locations look and feel clean, and this one is no different. Shelves are well stocked and everything is very neatly organized. Produce are always fresh and meat always looks good. Full service bakery for a quick easy dinner, or a last minute dessert (They make really good cakes). Prices are a bit on the high side, but shop the sales and you'll do just fine here. Staff is friendly and helpful as well. I'd recommend this location.”

“Oh, Mercado is a great store. The staff are really friendly and the store has hard to find Latin food items and meats. The chorizo is out of this world. Also, if you're lucky, the taco stand out, front will be open and you can have authentic tacos, not the gringo, kind that you usually find. Also, check out Maria's jewelry store inside. She is super friendly and has amazing jewelry that you can't find in other places and great deals on cologne and perfume. She is a real style setter.”

“The sweetest people you've ever met and the most quality desi snacks, meat, spices you can get! I personally love coming to Alabama Halal Foods for all of my raw meat more than the other halal butchers in the area. I can get chicken breast, steak, ground meat, etc. all fresh and not frozen, as well as cut however I'd like right on the spot! The owners are a delight and always extremely helpful. The variety of snacks and other staples they carry in stock are sure to please any and all desi parent expectations. I've never tried their ready made meals, but they always look incredibly enticing near the check-out station, highly recommend!!!”

“I called ahead and let the Pharmacist know that I potentially have COVID and am awaiting my test results. They went out of their way to go out in the store for me and got my over the counter vitamins and medicines and rang it all up at the pharmacy drive thru. I had my Emotional Support Dog with me in his car seat and she even put a sealed baggy with a Milkbone in it for him. I'm really appreciative of how thoughtful they were in preparing everything so that I didn't feel as though I had to go inside or find a friend that could go in for me.”

“I don't normally go into this store because most of the workers there are very unfriendly and I usually go to the neighborhood market on valleydale. But I went in there Wednesday and I was looking for disposable latex gloves and I couldn't find them and one of the employees pointed me back to where the dish detergent was and that wasn't the right place but anyway I met a young lady named Kim Blackwell and she took the time to walk me all the way over to pharmacy and show me exactly where the gloves were. That meant so much to me and she was so friendly I couldn't believe I was in Walmart I thought I was in Publix. This young lady was so professional and so nice to me that I couldn't believe it thank you Kim Blackwell.”

My friend and I wandered here to this, Walmart in Hoover, Alabama for some pre-race items that may have been not needed or use after the fact. it was a Friday afternoon and October 2023. For this visit at this Walmart we spent about 45 minutes separately so we could find what we were looking for. I ended up having to walk around the aisles with a shopping cart, which is seldom and rare. Walmart is trying to be your quintessential hub for every day essentials. Much like Amazon but they normally ship stuff in and you can really get your hands on it until days later. But Walmart is different since you can get stuff right off the shelf on demand. With that said, my friend, and I loaded up on snacks and anything that could sustain us during a 24 hour running event. From Water to sports drinks to candy and cookies, we loaded up on what we wanted to have during a grand event. While shopping, it felt like it was kind of fun, to be honest. But, in all honesty, it was essential for us to have this Walmart stop because we needed it for our own well-being. For the most part, though, our time spent here at Walmart was very good and casual. They do have practically everything you would possibly want on a daily basis. it's quite outstanding that they do carry almost practically everything and it is amazing to have Walmart in our communities. Walmart is a place where you can get reason prices and they can be cheaper than your neighborhood shopping centers Costco may be cheaper, bulk sales, but Walmart can be as advantageous for saving money. The overall experience here at this particular Walmart location was as good as it can be. I quickly found what I was looking for and everything was at its normal location. There was actually plenty of Walmart sales associates here that could have helped me with what I was looking for, but I had time to shop, so I found what I needed needed with a bit of searching and look that I would find it sooner rather than later. This Walmart is about the same size as any superstore. It basically has whatever you need and they pride themselves on. Everything seem to be in order and definitely had a nice experience here in Hoover, Alabama. It's a Walmart of course that has basically everything. During my experience here at this Hoover location, I personally ended up paying for a lot of stuff I didn't really need since the event already provided majority of the stuff. Ended up having to consume it afterwards during my down time after the event and some of it was packed into my luggage for the flights home. I liked the way Walmart was organized but it can be a zoo if you don't know where you are going or where a certain product you are looking for. A lot of times, Walmart is basically a self service, as with many other grocery and department stores around the country and possibly the world. You'd ask for help when you do. The help I did receive from a young Walmart sales associate that day was not helpful but I knew I should have remembered to pack it in my luggage before coming to the Greater Birmingham area. This Walmart is located in Hoover, Alabama. Just outside the city center of Birmingham. Maybe 15-20 minutes driving. The physical address is 2780 John Hawkins Parkway in Hoover. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. They have a bunch of services just outside their cashier section like Eye wear and sometimes Subway. They do have a large customer parking lot for just about anyone and everyone who comes to this particular Walmart location. Not sure if the metro Birmingham public transportation system stretches out to Hoover, but if it can be done, you can get here from Birmingham out to Hoover to get yourself here to Walmart and shop on. “I do most of my grocery shopping here because it's close to home. Sometimes you can find a good deal but other times, things are over priced (more expensive than publix). I honestly prefer Publix over Walmart because the prices and quality is better. But as far as convenience, this Walmart is just that for me. The staff is usually kind and helpful also. Just be sure to watch your surroundings. I have been followed through this store before by a man that cornered me on every aisle I would go down and would not stop making inappropriate comments.”
