Evidently the Helena Walgreens suffers from too much business. I am going to lighten their workload. They will never have to worry about the thousands of dollars worth of business I’ve brought them every year for the past 10 years ever again. Per the pharmacy tech who yelled at me tonight “tell my manager to hire more people!” (This after 3 DAYS of trying to get an RX filled).

Walgreens used to be my "go to" pharmacy. They were fast, efficient, and kind. Recently though they have not been coming through. They do not have prescriptions on time. They have canceled prescriptions with no warning or explanation. They promised scripts ready at 10:30, then 1, sat in the line from 1 to 1:30 only for them to close for lunch before I got to the window and find out my script was still not ready. Then they said 3, at 4:30 still not ready and they promised 6. They have done it again today and I am so disappointed. I don't know why the change, but I hope whatever damaged their excellent customer service is fixed soon.

This store has been the one I’ve used for around 20 years, but the service has gone downhill. I’m sure the employees need help, but this is absurd. Walgreens should do whatever it takes to staff its store adequately.I’ve been sitting in line for 30 minutes. They’ve served two customers in that time. I still have 6 cars ahead of me, and two behind.

As I entered the store and was greeted with a wonderful, "Welcome to Walgreens!" I checked out at 4:33 PM , October 10th. I did not know the person's name, but she was working the front register. What a very enthusiastic and heartfelt welcome.I ventured throughout the store just for a little bit to enjoy some of the bright stickers sale items. If you have not checked for them, I think it would be certainly worth your time.I ventured to the photo area, pressed the button, and heard the same lady who was checking customers out at the front, say, "I will be right with you." She said it with such kindness. I decided to check out another sale item and noticed a gentleman, he was approaching very slowly and in no hurry. No big deal.I returned back to the photo desk, no, "Sorry for your wait". No big deal. He rung up my order along with some items and the phone rung. He took the call, no big deal. My card was taking too long to process and I was making him aware, but he did not hear me. After finally returning back to giving my order attention, he pressed a key on the register. At that point, my order correctly processed. He was lacking customer service skills, but learning never ends. I am hoping the lady in the front area will rub off on him.I will say on another positive note, I had a photo book created and they did a marvelous job! We were very impressed. All of the photos came out with such vibrant colors.Ease getting around the store is very good and very accessible.They have a great selection of items and I must admit that when I have gone in numerous times, the person upfront is usually wonderful concerning customer service.

Ashley makes my day whenever I have to get my prescription filled. She always has the sweetest smile on her face and she radiates joy. She is the best pharmacist Walgreens has ever had ❤️

Margaret was so sweet and helpful!! There was a confusion with my prescription and she walked all the way out into the store to get the otc version for me. She also made sure I understood the instructions for using the medicine!! Great service.

This is the Walgreens we use. It is a great store but I only gave 3 stars as the employee (older gentleman) had no mask on in a state with a mask mamdate in place. The store has a sign asking customers to wear masks but doesnt have their employee wear one?

Allowing customers to shop without requiring masks!!! Neither customer had a mask on.Something is also fishy with their employees or systems. Insurance information magically changed but there haven't been any changes since my last visit.

Kudos to pharmacist Pauline in Helena, AL. You don’t often get to see who works behind the scenes but Pauline has ably given me shingles shots and explained side effects,checked on me when I took a new medication, and reassured me about Covid-19. She is a treasure!
