Couldn't get medication because even though my insurance covered my medication up to $45. He wanted to charge me an extra $150 of my own money. Went to Kroger and got the same stuff for $25. Don't go here you will be charged way more go to a bigger and more established pharmacy. Can't believe he would be ok charging me that much more after I just got out of surgery.

Had a surgery run late in Birmingham and pulled into the parking lot at Gilchrist less than a minute before closing. Less than 10 minutes later my wife was back in the car with my prescription. ALWAYS 100% customer-centered service.

Horrible pharmacy, my 10 month old needed budesonide, they said "we dont fill it anymore because we're losing so much money filling it" meanwhile my son needed bad because he is having breathing problems. Pathetic small company. They don't care about their customers. ☹️

I just recently moved and had to choose a new pharmacy. I chose Gilchrist because I like the mom and pop pharmacies better than the larger chains. The pharmacist was very friendly along with all the other workers. They filled all my meds in less than 10 minutes. I had zero issues with anything. Not to mention, they have the cutest boutique type clothes, which is right up my alley.

Please, if you're any where within driving distance from Gilchrist pharmacy, hear me on this. Gilchrist is the absolute best pharmacy anyone could ever hope to use. The staff treats you like family and goes above and beyond every single time to ensure you're taken care of.I've attempted to use all the "big box" chains before and it's ALWAYS a nightmare experience.If you want a Pharmacist that treats you like they would their own family Gilchrist pharmacy is the only way to go. I'm retired military, so I've been all over the world - literally - and I've never had a better pharmacy than Gilchrist.Say "no" to big box chains and use Gilchrist Pharmacy. Thanks Mike for always taking good care of my family. I'll never forget your kind and caring approach to our healthcare and pharmacy needs.
