Needed parts. The men had no clue of what I wanted. I let them see the parts on the Internet, and the still were clueless. I bought from Amazon. If the line workers are this"talented", maybe they will stay on strike. I WAS ASKING FOR OEM GM FACTORY PARTS, NOT AFTERMARKET.

As far as actual "service"...I guess it was ok. Not the employees' fault that I am having issues out of a brand new 2023 Equinox. Before it even hit 2000 miles it stalled on me in the middle of HWY 77. Luckily, I was able to coast into the turning lane before getting hit. Engine light came on and it showed a warning message that the engine had lost power. The code it showed on the computer at the dealership on 8/17 was that it had an "Engine Misfire." There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON a brand-new car should have done this if nothing is wrong with it. But since the dealership cannot "pinpoint" why it did it, GM doesn't want to own up to it and buy back or replace this car. The service manager kept my car from Thursday to Saturday, thus putting over 200 miles on it by driving it back and forth to his home in Huntsville, to see if it would "duplicate" the issue. And since it didn't happen while he had the car, GM says it doesn't "meet criteria for a buy back from GM". After speaking to several people, this should have never even been an option, but at the time, it was the only option given, besides me just "driving the car to see if it happens again." I am sure they have machines they could have hooked my car up to and run the appropriate tests.I have since filed a complaint with the BBB Auto Line. This is unacceptable. I will NEVER do business with GM or purchase another GM vehicle, nor will any of my family.

Drove an hour to get in for an oil change on a Saturday and left with my gas tank door not closing for some reason. Was perfectly fine when I arrived and filled up prior to pulling into the lot and now it is loose and not securing properly and comes open when driving. This is the second time I have used a Chevrolet service department and left with something on my truck being damaged that made no sense at all based on the the service performed. To add to the frustration, this occurred on the heals of just having to replace the transmission on a 4 year old truck which is now subject to a class action lawsuit for same. Thanks Chevy

I was not very happy with my experience at Guntersville Chevrolet due to some problems with honoring my online appointment time and being charged almost double the advertised price for an oil change & tire rotation. After I expressed my displeasure, I was contacted by the Customer Service Manager who apologized for the mistakes that were made and rectified the situation to my satisfaction. I appreciate the effort to regain my confidence and make restitution for the pricing discrepancy. This gesture restored my faith in the business and reassured me that customer satisfaction is a top priority at this dealership.UPDATE: I had a much better experience on my next service visit.
