Interesting place doesn't fit the description of a salvage company. They have loads of stuff in there nice stuff too however, They're not very service-driven we ask them if they they could cut a piece of metal we were thinking about buying and cut it half so we could fit it in our car, they said no. They wouldn't do anything for us that we needed them to do.They did offer to sell us some ten snips so we could cut it in half our self. ?

Some of what you'll find at Dixie Salvage: Lumber, flooring, trim, cabinets, electrical, sinks, vanities, Landscaping stones, furniture, etc and knowledgeable/friendly salespeople.I needed 700ft² of LVT flooring. What I wanted was $3.99ft² at local flooring store. D Salvage had the exact brand and style for $1.99ft². Saved $1,554. Worth the drive to Fort Payne...I appreciate Stuart's help

Great place to find salvage materials, but remember, these materials are salvage, not new, so don't expect first quality materials.Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

The woman behind the counter needs a class on customer service. Rude and unprofessional. I own a small business and I'd never allow myself or anyone that works for me to treat anyone with the slightest bit of disrespect. I was taught at an early age, "Bad Business Is No Business." My experience... I try to buy from local establishments to help out the local community. I stopped by yesterday to buy some cabinets and countertops for a remodel. When I walked in, the only greeting I got was the woman behind the counter looking over her shoulder to the clock and telling me in a rude tone "We close in 5 minutes." I walked out. If I'd been shown the slightest bit of respect, I'd been more than happy to come back earlier another day when they were open, but I wasn't. I will gladly pay more somewhere else where they know how to treat customers right.

Good deals on some things but quite high priced on other items. I did at the rugs for over an hour and no one offered assistance or acknowledged me. When I went and got help, they were pleasant.
