While there were quite a few items I liked and a couch I considered buying, the customer service was so off putting I left. The woman greeted me and then proceeded to follow us closely around the store. She acted as if we were untrustworthy Children instead of potential customers in their 30s.

The woman working there flat-out ignored my father when he greeted her, and she glowered at my family and me the entire time we were in the store. Not at all a pleasant or welcoming environment.

Employee was externally rude, snobby, and very unwelcoming. I was being grimaced at the entire time. Unless you enjoy the feeling of being uncomfortable I would steer clear

In addition to the beautiful antiques and artwork you must visit with Curtis. A wealth of local knowledge and experiences.

This is a great store. The people are very friendly and know their antiques. If they don"t have what you are looking for, no worries, they know where to find it for you. We recommend highly.

We were just browsing antique stores, looking for something nice for our daughter's first Christmas that she would appreciate down the line. Mr. Gordon was working and told us that he had just the thing. It turns out that he did. It was a pre-WW II folding vanity table that we are certain she will enjoy for several years. They even held it for us for over a month until we could get back down to pick it up. We even got it at a really good deal (Since the mirror wasn't original, but who cares with wood like that?). Whenever we're in Fairhope, we'll probably pop in just to see if there's anything else.

Attention all: When they say fine art they mean business. I had seen a piece in here going for $10,000+. When I first came in I was greeted with a less than warming welcome. After she realized I wasnt looking for anything in particular she continued to grill me as if I wasnt welcome in there. As I browsed around the store she actually followed me around as if I had intentions of stealing something. Finally I told her I was looking for a Japanese piece. She explained the pieces to me and when I had found one I wanted she acted surprised when said I wanted to buy the piece. Once she realized I was serious her whole demeanor did a 180, typical. I ended up paying in cash and she had to scrape together $1.50 in change because she was short of money, with a place so expensive you would think they had plenty of cash to make change with. If it wasnt for the beautiful and rare pieces she has available, I wouldnt think twice about going back.
