Protect “ran a diagnostic” on my son’s truck and told him the rear differential needed to be replaced. Was going to charge $3700.00 to replace. We opted for a second opinion. Turns out it did not need to be replaced. Parts and labor to repair. $250. Also, when we went to pick up truck from Protech (it was inside the garage) all of the tire stem caps were missing. Not a big deal however no one knows where they went.

The service was terrible from the beginning. They told me they'd fix my car in two days and they gave it back to me in eight days. I got $160 and I didn't get the problem solved. It seemed like they were guessing the car failure

Went to get some work done on a recently purchased vehicle. They have me a quote of 700 for the repairs. I agreed, and paid for the parts upfront. They called me a few days later and said the price would be 13 or 14 hundred because I needed new sensors. I told them that I would put the sensors on myself. They called right back and said that I needed some wiring done and it would cost me 1,000 total. I don't do wires so I agreed. After picking up the vehicle, I went to install the remaining sensors and discovered that one of my connectors had been cut. I hate shops that fix one thing and something else goes bad when you pick it up... I would never go back or recommend anyone there... Update: I found my receipt and they did in fact say that one of my plugs were missing. I should have read it before giving them a 1 star. I do think they were trying to overcharge me a little bit.

Have to give these guys props - they will tackle almost anything. Had an axle installed on a car that most shops shy away from (Saab). They also took care of a screwup on my part without raking me over the coals financially on yet another car that usually scares shops (Ford C-Max plugin hybrid).

I have needed a couple repairs on my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 and they have been great to work with. Between Paul, Jonathan, Nate and Ben, they provided good service and I would take my truck back for repair.

Sunday morning at buccees and needed a tow! They were there within 30 minutes, let our massive dog ride too! Even took us to a hotel! Incredible service!

Side note .
Don't deal with any of their tow truck mechanics . They prey on the innocent! One sent me a meth head to fix my ride .
