I gave it an overall 1 star.
I could give it 0 stars but Angela the breakfast lady and the black guy who was in the back cooking were kind to me. The Hispanic lady who gave me replacement sheets and pillowcase was also kind. Hispanic maid didn’t speak any English but was super nice. She communicated with me via iPhone Siri translation.
The bathroom appeared clean but smelled like rotten eggs and mold. I drove across the street to Walmart and bought Lysol to spray and clean.
There was a tiny bug in the towels. There was trash on the floor of the hotel room. The pillow had someone’s hair in it. It looked like someone slept on it and sheets weren’t changed. I paid $150/night plus tax.
They advertise as “upscale hotel”, but it’s not. Breakfast is not complimentary. You have to pay $14/ person. They had fresh pineapple and sliced fresh oranges but they looked like they were cut 3-4 days ago. The grits had so much salt in it, it tasted like I was eating grits dipped in Mortan salt. The eggs looked so old and greasy. Cubed fried potatoes were burned. The sausage was SOO greasy you can see the oil at the bottom of the pan. There was corn flakes, cheerios, fruit loops, and Raisin Bran. No Coco Puffs.
Coffee was the worst. The only thing eat-able there was toasted bagel, cream cheese and fresh cantaloupe. That’s what I ended up paying $14 for. The cream cheese was warm and sour. The Indian lady at the front desk dressed up in a suit didn’t even look nice nor approachable. She didn’t smile, didnt greet me for breakfast or anything. I ended up asking a maid I met in the hallway for replacement of sheets and pillowcase. The only nice person was a Hispanic cleaning maid and black lady Angela serving the breakfast. What’s wrong with the Indian lady? Did her uncle die or something? Her facial expression was as if she is better than me and everyone else around her. I told her thank you after breakfast and she barely acknowledged me - probably because she was distracted by being on her phone.
Front desk is supposed to be kind, nice and approachable. She was sitting in the breakfast room on her phone the whole time. Isn’t she supposed to be behind the desk greeting guests?
Maybe she is one of the Indian owners so I guess she can be on her phone and no one can say anything because she is the boss.
I attached pics of the hair on the pillow and the make up stain.
I didn’t have the patience to take a pic of the ant on my towel. I smushed the bug and flushed it down the toilet.
Attached are photos of dried blood on the blanket and carpet. This is SOO NOT Hilton. This is run by some Asian Indian Patel management who only cares about profit margins and not about their employees nor quality of cleanliness for their guests.
Maids and kitchen staff are probably underpaid and on a tight schedule (cleaning lots of rooms in a small amount of time) which is why they probably don’t have enough time to dedicate and clean each room.
I’ve managed for a Patel owner Hilton in San Diego, California, for 3 years back when I was in my 20s, and never have I experienced something so poor at a Hilton. This only happens when management is greedy, self serving, and only cares about profit margins - not staff nor their guests.
$150/night totally wasted and feel like I can’t even complain because I have worked for a Patel at a Hilton before. Patels are like any other folks. One person of a culture doesn’t make the rest of the Patels bad.
I hope they feed their kitchen staff. Angela’s service in the dining hall was beyond amazing.
I stayed last week for only 1 night, and I don’t write reviews but since the Indian lady at the front desk wasn’t approachable, this is the only way I can save potential guests from coming to stay here.

"I stayed at this hotel while visiting my sister, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel itself was nice and clean, which I really appreciated. However, I was disappointed by the wait time at the bar/restaurant. I had to wait over 10 minutes for the cook and bartender, who were nowhere to be found—definitely not the level of professionalism I expected.
On a brighter note, the front desk staff was fantastic. Ms. Kay, in particular, stood out with her southern hospitality, making me feel right at home. I will definitely be returning, thanks to her warm and welcoming demeanor!"

Good clean hotel! We were late to book a room for the same night, the room available was very nice! Everything was clean and the service at the frond desk was also good. Our toilet didn't work but they repaired it within 10 minutes. Breakfast was $14 and they had a lot of choices.
Overall, recommend this hotel even if it's only for 1 night.

Not what I expected. The first lady who checked us in Thursday night was fine. We were here for a funeral. Came down for a question and the lady was there but Antonio was at the desk. It was late and he just started but his demeanor was absolutely unprofessional. I dealt with it, asked my question and he said he would have an answer for me that morning before he left at 7, and he did call. On the carpet was a red stain and certain spots were sticky. Our blinds had a control mechanism on the wall. It did not work. Call front desk, service would be here at 10. No show. We went to breakfast, came back blinds started going up and down by themselves. Called front desk, no answer. Happened to see cleaning people on te floor the the guy called maintenance for us. After third time on working on blinds and they kept operating on their on, maintenence took batteries out of the control panel. Saw Antonio that night and I spoke as we were going to our room. Still dry and acted as if he was forced to say hello. Next day, went to Aunt funeral, gone all day just got back about 6 that evening and could not get into our room. Went to front desk and at this time nothing he could do because the system was down. We had to wait 15 to 20 minutes before he could get the system seemingly somewhat up to make us fresh keys which did work.

Worst stay E V E R . The front clerk Mathew was (key word being, WAS) initially helpful. However, the stay went downhill FAST. Room was FILTHY. Stain on one of the bed sheets, mold in the corner of our room. When we moved the chair to take a picture of the mold, we noticed a shiny nickel under the chair. Obviously the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. No body gel in the shower. Second room for the kids had a massive stain on the carpet and a towel had a red stain as well. Pool was filthy as well. Hadn't been cleaned in....how long????? Not that I go around purposely tasting pool water, but this water was salty. SALTY. YEEUK!! Had a tailgate party directly beneath our room until late hours. Called down to the front desk to get it taken care of and was laughed at. Mathew did go out to talk to the guests about the noise, but beyond that, no other action was taken. So had to listen to that until after 11. Ended up turning our TV up to 30 and running the fan all night just drown out the noise. For $200+ /night, AVOID THIS DISASTER AT ALL COSTS!!!

We could not get out of here fast enough. Dirty, bad service, didn’t have basic needs, told us “you don’t have any daily credits” when that certainly wasn’t true.
Don’t let the ratings mislead you. Skip over this one. Hopefully the slice of pizza won’t still be by the elevator on the way out…..we saw it for at least two days.

While the staff was friendly, there was usually only one person available, leading to long waits whenever I needed help. Unfortunately, many of these issues could have been avoided if the hotel's technology worked properly. My mobile key didn’t function even though it said it was available and I went to my room to try. Also, reaching the hotel was completely unresponsive if you reached out with the Hilton front desk chat service. The room had only two towels, and the shampoo and conditioner containers were empty. Additionally, the continental breakfast was overpriced ($14 per person), and even the Diamond member credit didn’t cover the cost. I expected better from Hilton Garden Inn.
