I had to change the delivery address of a package. I could not get it done online or by phone. However, I went to the DHL Birmingham office and the lady that helped me could not have been nicer and more efficient. What a pleasure working with her. Problem solved. Thank you DHL. MSD

Been trying to get a package delivered for 8 days to a clients location and they showed up after business was already closed 3 times. Now no one at the Birmingham Alabama location will get the package delivered during the clients open hours of Mon-Fri 9-4 time. Every day we call and they say it will go out the next day and still not moving.
They will not connect you to Birmingham, Al location or put the package on a truck for delivery. Horrible Customer Service and Horrible delivery issues in Alabama. Only USE UPS even FED EX leaves packages in the rain at businesses that are closed after hours or on the weekend.
Update after 9 days of calls, package arriving 10 days late and never having a supervisor ever call us back finally got one single gentleman to make someone in the Birmingham, AL location get boxes and deliver them during working hours. Still not changing the review up from a 1 as many hours were wasted on hold trying to get this situation resolved by myself and the company who shipped this package using DHL. Was a horrible and overall stressful experience.

Last Wednesday, an international package was delivered by DHL. On the same day, I received a message on my phone reminding me that my package had been delivered, but in reality, I did not receive it. However, it showed that it had been delivered and signed for by a TIm person. I doubted the ability of their delivery person because he handed over the package to someone with a completely different name for signing. At that time, I was very disappointed and angry because I had been using their company for transportation. Although their shipping price was the most expensive, it was also the fastest and safest. This is my understanding of DHL all along, so I was surprised to see a lost or stolen package this time ?, I immediately contacted DHL to inquire about this issue, and the staff were very friendly. They quickly initiated an investigation and contacted the local DHL transportation department to investigate. During the days when the lost package was lost, there were staff members from the headquarters who kept in touch with me and followed up on the progress. I am very satisfied with their responsible attitude. Until today, the DHL staff helped me retrieve the package. Although it had already been opened and even lost some parts when I received it, I still gave them five stars because they helped me retrieve the package in the end. I am very grateful. In life, understanding the work of staff can inevitably lead to mistakes. I fully understand that compared to not doing anything, I still give them five stars. This result is already very good, So I am very satisfied with their proactive and responsible attitude towards searching, and I hope that there will be no more incidents of loss in the future. I will continue to use DHL shipping company!:)

It is infuriating when you are told that no one was home to receive your package, however the entire family was home at the time they reported that they attempted to deliver. The live chat is not helpful and you can’t get anyone on the phone. I would never choose this delivery service if I was given the option.

Kecia is the most amazing person! She went above and beyond - I had a passport shipped to me using DHL Express in order to get to a family funeral in England. She called me in the evening right when the shipment arrived and stayed open past closing time in so I could get my passport for an early morning flight the next day. If she had not done that, I would have missed my flight and missed the funeral. I am forever grateful and am a loyal DHL customer - especially to this location.

Im waiting for my package to come to greece but the package is still in alabama for 4 days why?
