This is a cool drug store! It's on the square and just so attractive, both inside and out! They have a fountain area that is lovely and covered in beautiful marble with a couple of stained-glass panels, where you can buy Coke floats in a variety of flavors, milk shakes, malts, waffle cones, and flavored drinks, and of course, ice cream! This well-organized store has the standard fare drug store merch: greeting cards, lanyards, health care items, a curated collection of clothing and bags, readers, snacks, vitamins, home health care items, home decor items, toys, and gifts. The prescription counter is in the back. There's both an antique cash register and an ATM machine. My favorite sister and I were enjoying a rare day together and actually popped in here to use the restroom. Everyone was friendly and pointed us to the small, but neat and clean restroom in the back.

I had to get my medicine filled, and Limestone Drugs is the only pharmacy in town who had them. The woman who took my prescription asked about my insurance, and I explained that I have insurance but it doesn't pay for this particular medication. She gives the prescription to the pharmacist, and YELLS, "No insurance!" Why was that necessary? Everyone one on the square heard her. I always go to Westside (Jeb is amazingly helpful and friendly) and this hasn't ever happened there. They're so friendly, and they don't yell out my business. Megaphone mouth from Limestone needs a lesson in retail decorum. Westside just didn't have the medication this month, but I regret ever going to Limestone. At Westside, the same medicine is 35.00. I just paid 98.00 for it at Limestone. Rude and expensive.

I went to pick up my toddler's refill and for the THIRD time they gave us the wrong syringe that didn't have a small enough dosage on it. So here I go back to make another trip to get the correct syringe. This time the tech came back and said "Wait what dose do you need?!" after telling her already and her writing it down. I repeated 0.6 mL and we have been given syringes that start with 1 mL. It's just a pediatric syringe that we are needing. She replies with "yeah we don't have those here." I believe they do but instead of checking with a pharmacist who would actually know what they're talking about she was just being lazy. At this point I asked if she knew anywhere that would have the right one. The woman replied and I quote "I don't know what other pharmacies have." At this point all I could do was stare in disbelief at the rudeness of this ugly woman. I was willing to drive to another pharmacy to find it if she would've just helped me out a little. This wasn't the first time I've had to deal with her but it will be the last. You've lost year long customers for sure because we won't be back. Also if it's true you don't have pediatric syringes.....What kind of pharmacy is this?!? Don't go here!!!

One of the best pharmasies I have ever known. We have bèen doing business there for almost 20 yrs. Even after we moved to Decatur we drive to Limestone drug for our medicines. Helpful, friendly and quick service always.
