My family has been using this pharmacy since I was a child. Over the last couple of years the customer service has decreased dramatically. Rude when they pick up the phone. Rude when you come into the facility . No reason at all . You’re dealing with sick , chronic , terminal patients and people . Why in the world would you treat people like that.

I was trying to make it by 8:00 and was pushing on being there before they closed. I called ahead to see if they closed at exactly 8:00 and she said and I got there at 8:05 and they had waited for me. That meant the world to me and showed me how much they do care about their customers.

They always have my medication filled super fast and I never have any problems with any of the staff. It's a good place to go to!

I called them twice and both times they told me that they have generic Vyvanse (lisdexampfetamine) available, but when I went to fill it they said that they’re actually not selling it for another month or two.And to make matters worse, I haven’t been able to find discount cards for Vynvase that they’ll accept, meaning it costs $380 per bottle. If I didn’t have my insurance to refund me 70% of that (but only when I mail the receipt to them…), I simply couldn’t afford to continue taking this medication. Absolutely ridiculous.Very frustrating and ADHD unfriendly. Do not recommend at all.

Service has been going downhill for the past two years. It stinks when you call your medicine in and I have someone to go pick it up and it’s never ready! I am when you get halfway down the road and realize that you don’t have all your medication and you call him and say oh yeah I forgot to put it in your bag. I know my whole family is changing pharmacies. Thanks Athens.

I have used Athens pharmacy for over 20 years now. I think I need a new pharmacy. I sat in the drive-through to get my prescription for 55 minutes this time. So yeah I think it's time to find a new pharmacy!

Have used Athens Pharmacy for over 30 years. Mostly good experience , until this past month one of my daily meds that was supposed to be a 60 count but bottle only had 30. Of course when I called after driving home I was told there was no way they could have made a mistake. Definitely check your meds before you leave

These people get prescriptions wrong more than anyone should or would be comfortable with. There is one pharmacist in particular who really needs to go back to school to learn how to read prescriptions. Check your medicine before you exit the pharmacy. Some of the employees are also rude as heck and like to make fun of customers while some of them act like they would rather be anywhere else but there helping customers. Whoever owns this place needs to reevaluate their employees and hire people who actually care about their patients!

Make sure that you check your prescriptions before you leave the pharmacy. They have messed up my mother's medication twice. First time they completely left one of her meds out, and refused to accept that they messed up until TWO MONTHS LATER! Then one of my mom's meds was changed to a higher dosage and they filled it for the lesser amount without even reading the new script! Check your meds people!
