This place is awesome. I went on a tour with Elite tours and this was by far my favorite wine tasting experience, hands down!

This wine is some of the best wines I've had recently. The owner (Greg) is a purist, and most of the wines are single vintage, single grape. He's committed to using natural yeasts and you can taste it. It's open by appointment only, but worth the commitment.

Mas Chappell is the culmination of over 40 years of active, commercial winemaking experience. You can taste the difference in the resulting wines. Our red wines are fermented on native yeasts so wine lovers can smell&taste the wines "terrior". Newer used French Oak barrels/puncheons are used exclusively to age our wines. We don't follow factory winery recipes for production of any of our wines. We spend the time,energy, assets, to ensure our wines are enjoyable upon release and will age 5-10 years or more properly cellared. All of our wines are grown&produced in the Rattlesnake Hills AVA, (except 2011/2012-Pinot Noir). This region consistently grows some of the best fruit in the Northwest proven by numerous medal winners and 90+ reviews.
