“After hearing so much about this spot, was treated by a friend to some vegetarian momos, veggie samosas, and a mango lassi. I’ve had momos once before and didn’t enjoy, but these definitely changed my view for the better. I was hooked on the peanut orange sauce and spicy red sauce that came with them; use with caution if you’re sensitive to heat like myself. The samosa was amazing and I enjoyed the crispy flavor of the shell with the sweet sauce. I never had such a filling, thick mango lassi before— will be my go-to drink going forward here. The woman behind the cashier that also worked on preparing the food was super sweet and patient with ordering. Will be back again to try the paratha cheesy momo wrap and paratha breakfast wrap!”

“The variety and quantity of fresh vegetables, tubers and fruits is phenomenal. They turn their inventory over very frequently so everything is absolutely freshest you'll find.We have scheduled going to trader Joe's on a weekly basis just to pick up fruits, vegetables and fresh stuff.Folks are working or very friendly. You can talk to him, but don't forget they're working and they're good at what they do.We have switched our allegiance from trader Joe's on metropolitan new woodhaven boulevard to trader Joe's or just off Queens boulevard and Yellowstone boulevard. It has a great great variety. More so than the metropolitan avenue store. After all, it's a lot bigger.Very very highly recommended!”

I got the chicken Ceasar wrap and when I tell you, each bite always has a little of everything :) the croutons are crunchy, the dressing isn't too heavy- honestly, just right. And the customer service I received today was top tier! Do yourself a favor and grab a sandwich, wrap, panini etc from here- well worth it!!”
“This Trader Joe's has an extremely friendly and welcoming staff, very attentive, and the checkout lines moves quickly. They have many items not found in NJ which is where I reside, however, stock is often low. In all fairness though, many retailers are struggling to stock shelves because of the covid-19 economic impact. At the time of this rating the global supply chain was still lagging, recovering.”
“This is a fantastic local kosher supermarket, offering all kosher products found elsewhere. The store is a pleasure to shop at, with helpful staff, clean and bright store with never having to wait long (if at all) for checkout lines. The prices are generally very reasonable and their sales are great. They also have a lot for free parking.Parking lot is now re-paved!”

“Great shop for vegetarian meats and products. Have been stopping by a few times a year to stock up on things. Love the frozen goods especially the vegan fish tofu and the vegan Hong Kong BBQ meat. Always pick up some of the dried TVP they are always a great price here. I like to grab a few packages of the vegan jerky as well as a nice snack that is fairly priced. Staff is always helpful and kind whenever we stop by. Have not tried the vegetable meat fluff “pork floss” yet, but am very excited as it’s a product I have greatly missed since becoming vegetarian!”

“Great little Greek supermarket in Astoria Queens.. assortment of delicious Feta's and fresh ricotta cheese's. Large choices of Greek Olive Oil's at very good prices. Staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable and eager to assist. Their fresh hot spinach pie is simply amazing and delicious. Definitely recommend to find your Greek delicacies and a little bit more.”
“I love this place! We buy our prosciutto here once a month and I love browsing the aisles while waiting because there’s so much to look at and buy! The proprietors are lovely and patient + their coffee is AMAZING.I was broken-hearted when Cheese of The World closed on Austin Street after 50+ years. I would avoid the specials. My sandwich was $16 but since I was full after one half I think the price is good. I will definitely come back when I can!”

Excellent selection of everything you're looking for, great value for your money and I haven't encountered an employee whom wasn't approachable nor friendly. If you're also a Queens resident, the drive is worth it as parking is plentiful and it is the best stocked store!”

“Californians and folks from the Southwest used to rightly scoff at the notion that you could get great Mexican food in New York City. That has not been true for some time, and the Woodside/Sunnyside area alone now has at least 4 spots to get reliably good to great Mexican food. We have come late to the El Don Taqueria and Grocery, but after two visits this is now my favorite Mexican restaurant. The grocery in the name is for real, and it feels more like a neighborhood bodega focused more on prepared food than staple, though it has a decent selection of Mexican food products. But rather than crowding the space with half a dozen aisles stocked with mire generic products there are about four tables where people can sit down and enjoy the food. The basic menu is only slight larger than what you can get at a taco truck. We have yet to sample the tacos, burritos, quesadillas, or tortas, but I have no reason to believe I would be disappointed. Two weeks ago we had the nachos and this week we ordered beef enchiladas and we quite enjoyed them both, though the enchiladas were more rolled soft-shell with a green sauce topping than the casserole-style dish familiar from Tex-Mex or New Mexico kitchens. The stand outs though are the daily specials, which incidentally are not listed in the online menu. They also vary considerably week to week. I don't think any of the items available today were listed two weeks ago. That can bring disappointment--I had hoped they would still have the chiles relleños that they had been making during lent, but the other items pork chops a la Mexicano and costillos con adobe, though very different from the chiles relleños, demonstrated the same care and attention, and I would be happy to see them on the menu my next visit, or try whatever else the chef was offering that day. The same goes for the flautas stuffed with potato's and chorizo., some of the best flautas I have ever had, and definitely the best I have had in New York. We do take out, and i recommend that, but as I have already suggested don't rely on the online menu and order on line. Call and inquire about the specials or simply show up and wait. Finally, let me add, the prices are right. Both times we ordered three entrees including rice and beans (beans are packaged separately) that came with rice and an appetizer and left having paid less than $60.”
