He knew quite a bit about the various spirits (vodka, bourbon, etc.) that I asked about as well. It was a pleasure to shop there. I can’t wait until my next visit to City Island!”
“Love this wines and liquor store. They have varieties of exotic drinks and wines. From souveghon blanc to other red and white wines. They notice I look so much of a young man younger than 21 but with my I.D card, the seller realizes that I am worth his grandfather's age. Lol. I love the fact that I.D is requested from sellers before selling, I feel this should continue in respective of physical appearance, color of skin, race and language. This is the standard and its must be adhered to.”
“Whenever I'm on 161st, the is the 2nd best liquor discount store. They always have unique bottles, and the prices are always good and affordable. You should stop in when you're in the neighborhood. You won't be disappointed. The service is always pleasant, and the atmosphere stays quiet unless the re's a Yankee Game, then it gets really crowded.”

“This is my go to spot especially for events and holidays. I'm a wine lady and I enjoy occasional cocktails for different occasions. I always find what I need. The staff are pleasant, patient and super friendly. Also, I'm impressed with how they modified their space during COVID times. You can also play the lotto, scan your lotto tickets and purchase scratch off games.”

“Parking lot on premise in front of store located off a main road. Walked in on a busy nite Christmas. Long line and wait, could tell they were a popular place to go. A wide selection of liquor to ice cups and gift bags if you are bringing your spirit select as a gift.Bring glass fridge and freezer for cold beverages like chilled wine and wine coolers. From in expensive to very popular expensive drinks. Also located in the front bottles of wine on discount for sale. The store seems clean. There was one cashier then finally another opened up. But once you come to the counter, the customer service was very nice and polite. They take cards and cash. If you can't find what, ur looking for on the base floor. They have selves up to the ceiling around the inside of the perimeter, it's probably on there or behind the cashier desk. If ur looking for something specific, they would have it or some close if they run out. It's a neighborhood liquor store, no supermarket attached. Just mind your manners.”

“I was biking past one day and from the exterior I thought it was a dive bar and wasn't until I got home I looked up and saw it was a pizza spot. Went back for lunch that weekend and ordered the pizza and cocktail from the specials menu. Pizza was ricotta, mozzarella, sausage, and hot honey sauce. Cocktail was tequila, st germaine, lime, basil simple syrup. Both were delicious! A week later I came back for dinner on a weeknight. Just grabbed the wrecking ball pizza (pepperoni etc) and a hazy IPA they had on draft. There's a pretty good selection of beers on tap, and looks like when it start to warm up they have some tables outdoors as well. Both times I went my myself so I just sat at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Love this spot!”
