252 NH-108, SomersworthMy first time euthanizing an animal and they made it as easy and pleasant as possible. My 18 year old cat, Maggie had suddenly gotten sick and she wasn’t eating. Dr Brench gave her fluids and antibiotics and prescribed an appetite stimulant. Everything helped to extend Maggie’s life for about a month but this past weekend I knew her end was near.I brought her to CPV at 11am and was treated so compassionately by the staff. They took me to a quiet room where a soft blanket was set up on a large shelf. I was able to spend as much time as needed to say goodbye to my best little friend and companion. At this point Maggie was so weak she was just laying sideways on the floor. I lay down next to her and stroked her slowly, touching once again her fragile bones on her thin body.We wrapped her in the blanket and I was able to hold her right to the end. She never flinched or made any sound at all. Within 5 seconds she passed, and Dr Robbin’s compassionate manner made the whole experience peaceful and stress free. I recommend Central Park Vet for their caring nature and professional manner during such a heartbreaking time.
