“A few friends had recommended I look for a formal dress here. I was hesitant because I think of it as a high end store for older women, but perhaps that's me these days! I first stopped in end of August hoping they'd have some fall dresses, but they said i was a little early. Is it me or is fall fashion coming out later and later? They told me to come back in a few weeks for 2 trunk shows. I did just that and while I saw some beautiful dresses, they weren't for me. Everyone who worked here was super sweet and helpful...and I like that they didn't pressure me to buy anything. And by the looks of some of the amazing dresses I've seen friends buy here I may give it another shot in the future!”

“I love love love Valentina and am so happy that they expanded into the new(ish) space. Echoing a previous review about Whitney - she was my denim guide and set me up with some great new pairs of jeans, testing my comfort level just enough. I stop by whenever I'm in Winnetka and wish they had a store in the city!”
“A fabulous pair of shoes caught my eye in the window and so I decided to finally check out this store, which i have admired from the sidewalks for years. The door was locked, but the sales associate let me in and said they were getting ready to close at 6pm (it was 5pm). I've been on the hunt for a dress for my daughter's bat- mitzvah so mostly looked at their dresses. While they had many gorgeous dresses they didn't really have anything that worked for this specific event- most were too conservative or just not my style. They did have an amazing prada dress that would be perfect, but a tad bit out of my price range. The lovely sales associate did her best to try to find something that was perfect, but no such luck. The shoes were pretty fabulous though so I have a feeling I"ll be back here once I make the final decision on a dress.”
